Hey guys, I've picked up the game a couple weeks ago and read up on a lot of thing regarding the game and finally think I have a pretty good grasp of the general concepts of Street Fighter V. I'm well aware that these posts pop up fairly often but I think this is not exactly the same thing as I don't feel like I need to learn the fundamentals but rather practice them. I have a hard time applying everything I feel I know to my gameplay and don't know what would benefit a new player like me the most in terms of practicing.

The area where I think I do the worst are Anti-air (sometimes I mess up the motion or use the wrong anti air option), hit confirming, footsies (I can't for the love of my mother figure out how to not get hit first in the poke war) and knowing how to get in (I play Cammy). I'm sure there are countless other things I'm awful at but I feel like these are the things I notice the most.

Basically what I'm asking is what would you recommend a newer player to focus on.

With Survival being much easier now, Don't forget to get your missing Colors for the first 16 Characters Default & Story costumes & the Exp will get ya some FM.

Sorry for the longest thread title ever but this is what I've been doing today, Cleared it with about 4 characters got the exp cash & with a decent amount of items it's pretty straight forward now to cheese this Hard mode for missing colors.

Help with odd fight stick inputs

Hi, can anybody help me out with some odd inputs that seem to be occurring while trying to input quarter circle forward kick specials on my fight stick. In the following screen cap i have just executed QCF kick as part of a combo but it triggered the QCB QCB kick critical art instead :S.. Is anybody with more knowledge than me regarding the intricacies of directional inputs and shortcutting able to tell me why it came out as the double qcb critical art? or could it be a stick issue? (i notice when i let go of the stick for a fraction of a second after inputting a qcf for instance to let the stick bounce back to center it overshoots the mark and ends up bouncing back just into the zone where it will input the back command)

Thanks in advance :D (you'll have to take my word that it came out as the CA, although you can see the damage to ken from the last move which should roughly attest to the fact that the CA came out)

I'm looking for some casual sparring partners for either USFIV or SFV who are located in Southeast Asia. I'm a decent player in SFIV (3K+ PP) but as my region is set to USA instead of SEA it's difficult for me to find lag-free games since a majority of games found are 0 to 1 bar USA players.

For SFV, I don't really play it too much but after watching CEO 2018, I'd like to get more into it. It's unfortunate though since I'm only ranked Ultra Bronze which results in an automatic kick from any decent Platinum/Diamond+ level players, despite me being able to hold my own against them.

I'm fine to play with any level of players who like to learn and have fun. I don't have any particular mains and play a variety of different characters. Hit me up if interested!
