Shouldn't the vitriol be targeted at the CEO and COO of Jagex, Phil Mansell? Aka, Mod Pips. His twitter account has RS Chronicles as the banner, hasn't posted anything since 2016 and I can't find any engagement with RS community for a long time. Companies need to be profitable, and it's a hard business for a game like RS in this market, but people at the helm need to at least care. Otherwise this thing will be sapped of life until there's just pips left.

JMods like Osborne don't exactly have the ability to respond to our issues without planning and agreement from Jagex Exec. Osborne is just a humble Game Design Lead (no offence) with realistically zero ability to change things on the monetisation part of the game.

The only reason I stuck with this game is because of Ironman so that I can play the game it was meant to be without stupid TH popups like it's built on FlashPlayer. If I wanted that, I'd go play Neopets.

I see people arguing "eh, mtx is why I stopped giving Jagex money. I now pay membership with bonds. Maybe you people should do something, too!"

Bonds are generated in exchange for real life money by other people. If nobody buys bonds for ingame money, the prices will crash and people will stop paying IRL money for them. As long as you maintain membership with bonds, you're technically responsible for Jagex receiving as much money as from direct membership.

If you truly a wanted to stop supporting Jagex, you would have to cancel membership completely. Keep that in mind.

Being an 80 Slayer creature and frequently (at least in my case) given as a task by morvan, the drop table is incredibly lack luster

I'm not asking for 2-3m p/h, but at least worth doing

Only reason why I don't have them blocked is because it's a quick and easy task (around abbysal demon easy) but the drops are just so so bad, I'm sure there is other Slayer monsters that are lackluster too, but I was just thinking this today

Change the Rare relics to give any rare component(x3) randomly, instead of 100% chance of oceanic(3x).

If you don't understand this, then maybe you should go forward with your MTX for your shareholders, and when you start having money troubles in 1 year because your player base started to leave, you will have earned it.

I love you Jagex, but at the same time, I hope you get what you deserve for being a subpar company to your community as well as a subpar company as far as companies go. You used to be one of the good ones, a shining pillar in a sea of shit. Now? You have chosen to erode your status and wallow in the filth for money.

As of now, you are a disgrace to the gaming community both for lack of interest in your players, and for your insatiable lust for profits.

Edit: Apparently it makes sense to milk the shit out of a dying cow. I'm guessing the "fine" people at Jagex grew tired of working on a project that spun out of their control long ago. They've given up, broken spirited, dreaming of working on something new and better. Can you blame them? To the Employees at Jagex to whom I have struck a chord with, I sympathize with you.

Perhaps as a company you should acknowledge that your game is dying, and yes you are milking it until it's death because you need to make money, but instead of promising us bullshit, just put your hearts into making some really great content that everyone can enjoy. Lots of free cosmetics, fun events every weekend, introduce some much needed tweaks and fixes, the things you should be doing at this time. Giving back to your community instead of fucking them sideways until the bitter end.

Maybe oh maybe if you hadn't driven this game into the ground we would have had a larger player base that could support your dev teams with only their membership fees. I sometimes wonder how much larger this game would have been if it was actually managed well. I imagine there would be a lot more people playing if this game had any integrity left.

I want to see a response from Mod Pips (current CEO) about his views on the future of this game. I'm pretty sure he was one of the mods that introduced Squeal of Fortune and Treasure Hunter. I haven't heard of him in over a year. Seems like he has disappeared.

Epic Game destroyed my favorite game by trying to completely revamp the game twice without asking the community, in an attempt to turn it into a mass market brawler game for more players and more money.

Now Paragon's dead.

And please dont say that mod osborne said so, that guy lies more than pinocchio. If they see runepass bringing in good cash they will simply keep running th aswell, that means more profit ? From a business perspective any1 with a normal functioning brain will do it for more profit.
