It's clear that the biggest issue in this situation is that Jagex has lost the community's trust over time. One week without promos isn't enough. We need to keep seeing this kind of thing.

It seems like people have one major argument against the idea that RunePass can't result in less TH promos/less OP TH promos: "Jagex will just double down."

Who can blame them? After years and years of TH promotions getting crazier and crazier it feels weird to think that Jagex would really try to make a big shift, doesn't it?

But hey, that's just what I'm seeing so let me ask you guys -

Do you trust Jagex to tone down TH (long term) as a result of new forms of MTX like RunePass if they're successful?

And now, humour me for a moment. Assume for a moment you did trust Jagex fully for this question -

Assuming there was a choice between the two would you prefer Jagex run a smouldering lamps promotion for a week, or a RunePass?

I think most of us do want a future with less powerful MTX, we just need to see that Jagex is on our side so one last question -

If Jagex clearly toned down TH for an entire year, would you begin to trust them more?

And lets not forget that RunePass doesn't have to be the only way they try to make profit to help tone down TH, I'd love to see what you guys think about some alternative forms of MTX. I'd also love to hear what kind of stuff you guys think might be good.

Now I doubt anything will come of this, but lately I've been reminiscing about the past and realized that I really miss an old friend of mine from the good ole days of Runescape and just hoping that I can get in touch with her again (because like an idiot several years back I deleted her email), I don't expect anyone here to give me her contact details (you know because of the risk of me being a stalker or some other creep).

Anyways, her in game name was Vietpryde (or at least that was the base of her name it might not be the whole name), her real name is Annie, though she said her nickname was Gabby, and supposedly she lived in the Washington D.C. area. I was Comeangetme4 (still am), and my name is Travis. We met somewhere between 2002 and 2003, and were friends that stayed in close contact till 2007 when we drifted apart. If you know her, or her cousin (iittlemidget) and you would give them my email please message me and I'll pass you my email along with a brief message and she can decide if she wants to talk to me (and obviously you can decide whether or not you want to send the message for me).

Lastly I'll say she was my best friend, I always got on just to see and talk to her, we planned to meet one day but drifted apart before that could happen.

Imagine what RS would be if Jagex treated it like DE treats Warframe

Warframe is free. You can get almost everything in the game without paying a single dollar (and I say almost because Excal prime is discontinued and the workshop cosmetics cost real money).

DE constantly talks with their players and pushes out massive updates that almost always defy expectations.

MTX exists in the game. It certainly makes it easier/faster, but in no way is it required. You can actually work and trade items for the premium currency.

Imagine if Runescape had this sort of relationship between developers and players.

Jagex pls take a step back and realize you can make more money by pleasing the players instead of pissing them off

Mystic Cloth Drop Amounts Are A Joke

For the bosses who drop it at least, things like KBD and corp who take effort to kill drop only 1-3 cloths at a time while something like Ankous drop the same amount which is still a terrible drop not worth even picking up and it's just a slap in the face of who ever is killing these bosses, im not asking for 100 a drop but 10-20 for these boss mosters is at least enough to cover the food required to kill them.

I just wanted to say that after getting into the OSRS Mobile Beta today, I am so hungry to play RS3 on my phone as soon as possible

It's a strange experience playing RuneScape on your phone to be honest, but at least as far as Oldschool goes, it works and it works buttery smooth. Having the option to play more often and play while going other things is glorious when I'm stuck to a relatively underpowered laptop. I hope Jagex gets us in to open beta as soon as possible!

If you haven't heard, by the way, the OSRS beta is open to all android devices. They have to up the number of installs every day to accomodate demand (it's currently player limited) so if it's not available then check back the next day. You can find it just by searching Old School on the play store, it's marked Early Access.

Once you get the required produce points, you are able to create untradable tablets in your POH which are consumed on activation.

The idea behind this suggestion is so you can be on normal spellbook or ancients but are still able to use use useful spells such as Remote Farm during every day tasks, such as slayer or what not.

Open to thoughts, no trolls though please. :)

Many people suggested it, you buffed it so it doesn't degrade in elite dungeons, yet outside it's still completely unsustainable. Add a simple set effect of +2-4% accuracy. All of sudden you'll see rangers doing telos, less frustration at Nex, more people doing elite dungeons.

You know it's a great idea, just do it! :-)
