I get that the game aims for realism but honestly - once you fully geared up and can't sprint anymore at all it just gets tiring.

Edit: the defensiveness and aggressiveness this community shows because of a suggestion is incredible. What the fuck.

Hey, i am curentlly playing on some UK server that is First Person only. I am looking to get as much loot possible and survive as long as i can, sniping and killing other players is not my goal except if it is a necessity.

If anybody who has a mic and same goals as i do leave a comment here with your steam link and i will hit you up so we can meet up somewhere on the server. Remember it is a FP sever only!

Lost items after logging out and back into a server

So i was playing with 2 if my friends earlier in the standalone and when they would log out and log in to the server they would lose all of their items and have to start fresh at the beach as if they had died, but every time I did it I came back with everything and in the same spot I logged out at, idk what I'm doing different so that I can keep all my stuff so I'm asking on here, is this a known problem in the game and is there any way to make sure it doesnt happen to them again?

Not a hateful post, more a question. Would love to give feedback (constructive) to DayZ's developers along with ideas for the game and the sort. Probably just like everyone else. My question is: Are reddit post's here the best way (most likely/convenient) way to get them to see my feedback or is a tweet at their official twitter or something a better way to be seen?

So first the reverse complaint. I Was shooting a dude at nwaf between tents and bash in the woods. As i am Bad despite my 2800k hrs logged on steam, i died after failing to kill him the second time He ran into my view. Now the reverse complaint is that the server crashed right after i died and after 2 minutes of rage about my inability to kill a dude who cant spot me, i logged back in. And WTF i am alive 2minutes back from the server restart. Plz fix that. And now to the real complaint. I aimed down sight and hit this guy atleast 4 times into the upper chest/head from less than 50m with my AK. And the ironsights jumped around like mad. Why is he not dead? And then He whipped up his AK and shot me twice, i guess aiming with the crosshair, and killed me. The shooting happened within 3-5 minutes. So why is it that you cant aim for shit with iron sights But its super easy to aim with the crosshair (bullets should go way off target with crosshair).i understand its wip but this is hard to ignore for me who loves the game for its harder gameplay, and hates 3pp.

I climbed a huge hill, carrying something resembling DMR. You could see a big ass field and the huge beautiful snowy mountains stretching along the border. I grabbed binoculars and saw a huge cloud of smoke 2km away, rendering distance and graphics were like in real life. I said to my mate that is amazing, we were about to go down and go towards the smoke, then the 2 cars came out of nowhere.

The thrill of the chase started. They were driving south kinda towards us. They went to some nearby forest, it looked like they wanted to hide the car, it was the perfect opportunity to take them out. The guy was about to get out, I told my friend to go prone, then I looked through the scope and started shooting the car and tires. Bam! Bam! Everything missed. They went back to the truck and drove away. I was blaming my friend for missing, but my heart was still pounding.

I wake up, crying I still can't have this experience after all these years waiting. I wish at least dayzmod was as popular and good as it was back in the day, so I could experience this shit again. Nothing gives me that feeling, and fuck Arma 3 mods, they're not as good.

My life must be so boring if this is the thing I am dreaming about. I hope you enjoyed this beautiful story.

If I find the shore I'll try to stumble to Berezino and maybe find some apples and a well for water but I can't find knives guns clips anywhere. I can barely find other players. I'm on .63 and it's my first time playing DayZ and most of the videos on YT are hella dated. I'm having fun but the game feels a lil bit like Apple Hunt.

Bullets going through zombies

Just died because of my bullets not hitting the zombie. I sprayed 2 mags with mp5 from point blank range and didnt hit a single one. Also tried to punch the zombie it also didnt work and I died to the zombie. This happened on "de 0-2 "experimental server. Anyone else saw something like this?
