As a player whose put over 700 hours in PUBG the state of the servers is unacceptable. Posted: 07 Jul 2018 10:29 PM PDT The amount of desync and server wide stutter is asinine. This game has had it's ups and downs with stability but right now it has me to the point of wanting to quit the game for good. I'm not sure about other players but me and my group hold no loyalty to the PUBG due to devs/bluehole/pubgcorp. The second a stable BR comes out that focuses on realism we've already talked about switching asap. Point is I doubt my group is the only one with this mentality and the devs seemingly could care less. In a perfect world they would fix the servers permanently but at this point I doubt they have that capability. [link] [comments]

/r/pubattlegrounds is currently unusable Posted: 08 Jul 2018 11:06 AM PDT The whine threads are worse than they've ever been. Nearly half of the threads currently on the front page are whining about the game in various ways. Can somebody help me? [link] [comments]

Anyone else regret buying season pass? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 11:34 PM PDT I regret buying season pass I bought after I was impressed the first day the server ran great and now it's the worst it's dog shit. I wish I could go back and stop myself from giving this shit company my money :( [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jul 2018 02:30 AM PDT Hello. In pretty much every thread made about a certain issue in this game, theres pretty much always a portion of the comments where people are saying "my game runs fine, I see so many people complaining about this so why is my game okey?" etc etc. The thing is, when it comes to issues like FPS and DESYNC, this is something that affects everyone, BUT, heres a small list of things that can make you experience these issues differently and very well give you a feeling like these issues are over exaggerated on this forum. Playstyle People have been testing the crap out of this game and if theres one thing that is certain, its that playercount has a huge impact on both desync and fps. Which means that IF you have a very safe playstyle, landing as far away from the action as possible and spend the majority of the early game looting, its not unlikely that your game will feel "like it runs fine" most of the time. When me and my squad started playing this game we made it our goal to be as serious as possible and that included avoiding uneccesary fights untill we had proper gear. So we used to land as far away from other people as possible. We played like this for months untill we eventually got bored of spending half the game looting, so we started to drop in hotzones more often. And honestly, its like playing a different game, holy shit do you notice the fps and desync issues more if you drop in hotzones or anywhere near them. What server you play on Alot of people might disagree with me on this and honestly this is more of a hunch and not a solid fact, but as an EU player ive always felt like the NA servers where superior to EU. Infact me and my squad used to queue for NA servers instead of EU because the perfomance was noticably better on NA. Ive never played an online game where ive gotten better performance on NA compared to EU. And when I say performance I dont mean that "I did better on NA", because I know that I get a huge ping advantage and such, no, what I mean is that the game generally felt snappier and more responsive. Still laggy, but noticably better. Some might say that its because of peak hours and you might very well be right, but my issue with this argument is that whenever I watch players like Shroud play, who almost exclusively drops in hotzones when the game is at its worst, hes game looks completely different to what I experience in my EU games. Still laggy, dont get me wrong, but way better. When you play Sometimes peak hours of different regions overlap. Which means that you could see a flow of players from other regions invading your local servers, which further means that you could be playing vs alot of people with a high ping advantage making the game seem way more desync-ish then it actually is. This is part of the reason why people have been asking for region locks for so long. FPS issues I feel like theres a few misconceptions when it comes to fps issues out there. I feel like a good portion of the community, whenever they hear "fps issues", they immediatly think of low, unplayable fps. Which leads to alot of people saying things like "I have a terrible rig but I still get 80+ fps on ultra, why are you complaining about fps issues?". Heres the thing, I have played this game for over 600 hours and ive also switched rigs during that time, and I feel confident saying that when people talk about fps issues in this game, they are not talking about an unplayable low fps count (though some unlucky few might have this issue), but rather random fps dips that happens in certain situations like firefights when a stable fps count is crucial. Good or bad rigs dont really matter, these dips happens anyways. Infact having a lesser rig might be favourable, since if you have around 70 fps and drop to 50-55, thats not so bad, but if you have a good rig that can pull off 120+ fps and it all of a sudden drops to sub 90, that really messes with your head and muscle memory because it increases the input lag. General gaming experience I dont think its unreasonable to suggest that a player who started hes gaming career 5 years ago, might not be as critical or even notice for that matter, when it comes to certain issues like fps and desync. I truly hate bragging about myself but I have played shooter games for over 15 years and it takes me no less than a minute to notice that something about this game doesnt feel right. Its very obvious to me that its not working as it should. I really envy you who can still have a ton of fun and ignore all the problems in this game, like I genuinely envy you, but I cant not notice these things and alot of people in this community feel the same way which is why theres so many posts and complaints. People complain to much Not really part of the list, I just wanted to say a few things about this topic. Every now and again theres a post from a player whos obviously having fun with the game and really liking it, and they seem frustrated that when they visit the subreddit of their favourite game all they see are complaints. I get that and im not going to sit here and deffend shitposts that contribute nothing to any discussion whatsoever, and sadly those people will always be part of any gaming community out there, but I think when it comes to threads making it to the frontpage they for the most part have a valid point about a serious issue about this game. And they ARE serious. I see alot of comments asking if we are being to critical of these "minor" issues, but I dont think its fair to call these issues minor whatsoever. They are quite literally part of the core mechanics of this game and I think expecting fps to be stable and desync to not be over exaggerated, when they should be the bare minimum of requirements for any game, is not unreasonable in the slightest. Anyways, just my 2 cents. I could go on but lets draw the line right here. Maybe the discussion will continiue in the comments. And if im completely wrong about something feel free to tell me. Posted: 08 Jul 2018 02:48 AM PDT As of lately, it has occoured to me that there really is not enough vehicles in Georgopol. Yes there is ussually a few in the outskirts of the town, but that is not a given. Due to its size and how often the route actually starts or ends near Georgopol, it is in its own way - at least for me - a good/popular drop spot. The frustration comes when the 1st. zone for instance is located in Mylta, and there litterally is no way of finding vehicles. it's not my experience in other parts of the map. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:20 PM PDT Not only is Desync the worst it has ever been, but constant stutters, freezes during firefights, and frame drops have been killing this game. But something is making the game unplayable for me, whenever I try to play a game it will randomly crash to desktop. It doesn't have a specific time, it can be early on or later on, but it happens every game and it's now unplayable. Can somebody help me? [link] [comments]
Just had the most intense session of my life!! Posted: 08 Jul 2018 01:26 AM PDT I visited a buddy's place and we decided to play a casual few games with another friend. Fast forward a few hours, the three of us had won 5 out of 8 games and making 4 wins back-to-back. Our nerves were shit by the end but my God... We hit the pinnacle of our gaming lives. Just had to share. [link] [comments]

I am quitting until they fix their shit. Posted: 07 Jul 2018 11:02 PM PDT I love this game to death, it has been the best battle royale experience I have ever had and when it first came out I didn't give a shit about all the bullshit and lag because I knew it was still new and being developed. Fast forward a little over a year, what really has changed?
Fps has improved slightly over the months however the DSync is worst then ever We got 2 new maps, a shit ton of microtransactions for clothes and skins. An event pass that is the same as Fortnite's, costs the same as Fortnite, yet last half as long, and most of the challenges are broken or just plain shit.
I am done wasting money and encouraging BlueHole that I am content with the current state of PUBG. Until we get stable FPS (I have a $1600 gaming PC I should run this game easy), servers that actually work, and a better event pass system I am quitting PUBG.
Agree or disagree with me I am tired of supporting a game which after a year still has shitty fps and servers, yet will milk you for money in any way possible, as if the billion they have already made off game sales wasn't enough.
I love this game and want it to succeed but once COD and Battlefield come out with their own BRs in a couple of months what is really going to be unique about PUBG other than the fact that it can barely run? I mean honestly with PUBG's continued drop in players since January how could the servers be at an all-time low? I guess if the game continues to die at the rate it has been eventually the server might actually work OMEGALUL
Fix. Your. Shit. Bluehole....... Please [link] [comments]
6 times in a row Miramar. I do not want to play that map Posted: 08 Jul 2018 09:22 AM PDT Why did Bluehole revert the map select? I just can't stand Miramar and yet I get it 6 times in a row. For the love of God, let me choose my map. [link] [comments]
