[BUG] Junkrat can virtually have infinite ammo on the PTR

There's a change in the current PTR build that buffed certain heroes' reloads, making them automatically have full ammo after using their ultimate.

Channeled and transformation ultimate abilities now restore ammunition after completion for some heroes.

Channeled abilities affected: Junkrat's RIP-Tire, Pharah's Barrage, Roadhog's Whole Hog, and Zenyatta's Transcendence.

It works flawlessly on all the listed heroes except Junkrat because although you can't cast his ult mid-air, the game still applies the auto-reload, making it so that you don't need to reload manually. All you need is to have your ult, jump and press Q, and your ammo snaps back to full immediately. This can be done 100% of the time. It doesn't work if your ult is on cooldown.

A big reason for Overwatch's meteoric growth in 2016 and into 2017 were the animated shorts. Heck, I bought the game right after watching the Dragons cinematic, overcome with that epic feeling of attachment and involvement in the Overwatch universe (I then proceeded to play Hanzo and only Hanzo all the way until comp came out).

I know the game's in a decent spot player count wise, but player GROWTH is on a noticeable decline. Adding new events and heroes to the game primarily keeps the game fresh for EXISTING players, not really bringing in new players. The way animated shorts captivate outside audiences brings in NEW players more than any other type of content release.

It's been a really, really long time since the last animated short, Honor and Glory, came out. I believe the best thing Blizzard can do for the growth and health of the game is release a full suite of Animated Shorts, perhaps centered around a unified, evolving storyline. I know this magnitude of project would take a ton of time and effort to pull off, but the way it'd breathe life into the game for current and prospective players alike would be well worth it.

Brigitte's best and most annoying ability is completely reliant on having her shield up, and if it's destroyed she obviously can't use her shield bash. Brigitte also heavily relies on her shield, so when you destroy it she becomes pretty darn squishy.

I've always wondered what Winston would have looked like as human being, so I drew him!

Instead of being a gorilla, Winston and the other test subjects were intended to be the first humans to live in space, and were genetically modified to handle interstellar side effects.

Human Winston's appearance is based off his dad, Harold, and given some Asian features to reflect Lucheng Interstellar – the Chinese space company which oversaw the Horizon Lunar Colony.


Notes:

  • Rather than thrash his arms during Primal Rage, Winston just starts smacking the enemy team with his Tesla Cannon.

  • Human Winston has visible tan lines. This is due to him living on the Horizon Lunar Colony base, which doesn't receive natural sunlight due to being hidden from the Sun. I figure Winston would have soaked up a lot of Vitamin D as soon he landed on Earth, resulting in the tan.

  • It was a deliberate choice to make Winston's human design a bit fan-service-y; he was making everybody sweat just through drawings alone, so I went all the way.

  • Originally, I wanted to give Human Winston a Tesla Staff instead of his usual Tesla Cannon, but I got lazy.

Does the Training Ground need a v.2?

More than two years and a variety of new heroes in, does the Training Ground map need a revamp/expansion to give players the tools to properly test and "train" with all the heroes available today? I understand that creating private matches with bots is a common workaround but let's not underestimate how useful the Grounds can be.

The practice range is in need of an overhaul

Right now the practice range isn't very good for "testing" out new heroes.

The bots; while cute, aren't very great for testing damage outputs and aren't well suited for trying to practice aiming and tracking.

Plus there's a lack of stuff that's out there for us to work with. What if I want to see how fast I can build ult charge as Zarya? Well with only 2 enemy bots out there doing pretty low damage it can be hard to get Zarya up to a high energy amount.

There should be mutliple areas filled with differing bots that each have a different purpose. Some bots dish out a lot of damage, some don't. Some bots could be used to test other abilities like CC.

Just some new stuff would be nice.
