I thought I was fighting that first wave but Griswold hit me with a cold burst when he died. Despite 1225 hp and 60% cold resist (I had my mf gear on), and it took me out. Bummed out. The VPN supports Diablo 1 over IPX for MP, and Diablo 2 works as normal over TCP/IP. Other games are also supported for now but the service at the moment is primarily for the Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 communities. Now that I've upgraded the infrastructure, I'm accepting more invitation requests. | Why did the topaz gem murder my weapon's Damage and is it possible to get it back? Posted: 04 Jul 2018 01:02 AM PDT EDIT 2018-07-04 15:03 - I completely forgot to include one of the most important pieces of information. The actual number drop. The weapon's damage was sitting at about 2,300-ish DPS before I inserted the topaz gem, and it dropped to about 405-ish DPS after I inserted the gem. I did this twice to two different hacks, and the same thing happened. But I haven't tried it with another weapon so maybe it's something to do with the Hack itself and it's unique feature? I tried and tried but I could not manage to find my profile. Very frustrating. But here's my battle tag, because...I can't find it shrugs. The official diablo 3 says it can't find anything when I search my tag. John#110940 EDIT 2018-07-04 17:27 - It appears that I am an idiot lol. I have SUCH a clear memory of the damage only changing after I put the gem in, but that makes no sense. And after reading through all the comments and checking my character, I did reroll the damage and I somehow (well, I am still a noob) didn't realize that's what I was doing. Also....NO WONDER it took SO many tries to get a socket from the damage lol. Thank you all, I'm off to hide from embarrassment! Hello there, I'm a noob...I'll get that out of the way since this could very well be a stupid question :p And I wasn't able to quite find the information I was looking for. But anywho, I'm playing a crusader, level 218 and trying out/messing around with a thorns build. I discovered the Hack Axe and wanted to give it a go but I wanted a Flawless Royal Topaz in it. But as soon as I put the gem in, the damage was nerfed to hell. Now, I understand (I think) that it doesn't matter because all the damage is coming from my thorns stat. But what I'm not understanding is...well is there no way to get the weapon back to it's original damage and DPS after removing the gem? I'm not exactly sure why I might want to do that, but I'm learning stuff about gear and stats everytime I play, so who knows (actually, a lot of people probably xD) This is mostly a curiosity though. | What keeps everyone going? In season that is... Posted: 03 Jul 2018 11:01 PM PDT I'm a console player(legit) I enjoy seasons alot. I try my best to make 2-3 builds a season. Mainly a WD(favorite class) a support build and a dps build. But once I hit the 3-4 week period I just lose any type of grind for the game. I really only find this when playing by myself. When with people I can grind for hours. Anyone with some good solo tips to keep my head in this and not give up so often. [link] [comments]  | ||
