Blizzard recovered my nearly 14-year old WoW account that I haven't logged into since early 2007.

My toon!

Absolutely blows my mind that my account could be recovered. As it turned out, all I had to do was open a ticket and tell them the email that I thought (correctly!) was associated with that account. They then gave me access to this old WoW account, and that was it! It took no additional effort and to be honest I'm not sure how they knew it was my account, as the only proof I provided was that I knew the associated email address.

That pic up there is of my toon as I left him in Shattrath around May 2007. My guild cleared MC, ZG, AQ20, AQ40, Onyxia, BWL, and 7 bosses or so in Naxx before TBC launched. In TBC, we cleared Karazhan and Gruul's Lair and started in SSC when I decided to quit WoW to focus on my real-life... I had put 160 days/played into this toon in 2.5 years, which was literally 20% of my life over those 2.5 years.

My toon and his bank alts had tons of stacks of era-relevant potions, herbs, etc. It was a blast going through all my banks, and man, I'm so happy to have this toon back. It was a Vanilla Collector's Edition account, which means I can rock my Panda Cub once more!

Anyway, I was so excited, I just wanted to share here. Also, a huge shout-out to the three reps that helped me: Chulholut, Soingen, and Vandreanelyn. They were extremely helpful and even explained to me how to access my account from the Battle.net launcher (didn't realize, at first, that it was available via the drop-down box).

I met the Officers in My Guild

I have been playing this game since early wotlk. I have only been playing PvP since early cataclysm and I have got most of the arena achievements. But during early Nighthold I decided to try out PvE. I made a guild and with a good irl friend of mine we built a raiding team. While building this team, I met this resto druid. He later on became a officer in the guild and we started talking for hours and also playing other games together. About a month ago, me and the officers decided to get an apartment on Airbnb and meet up. Last week that happened. We rented an apartment in Helsinki and bought alot of pizza and energy drinks. We spent the time spamming RBGs and eating alot of unhealthy food.

I'm the guy to the far right, the one to my left is the resto druid and the other guys are my irl friends.
