Me and my friend were having a discussion about the viability of Kaya as a pickup on early game magical characters, and we seemed to have reached a conflict. On one hand, the damage and mana reduction are appreciated buly characters who love edging around fights dishing out their damage, but veil is of similar cost and assists the team. In case of pure damage numbers like QoP and Timbersaw, I can see an argument, but after looking through this subreddit, I've seen people dismissing the damage and mana reduction for bigger items that focus on survival over damage. This leads to the question: Is Kaya ever worth it? Or are we just waiting for it to be built into bigger items? I have success with it, but at my skill level anything can work. Any assistance is appreciated!

Is Enigma worth it?

Enigma didn't have a place in 2v2 meta, he like to lane solo. But Valve are willing to return this hero to meta. First of all, he got buffed directly in 7.16-18 and the buffs were reaaaally huge (especially the Demonic Conversion ones). Secondly, heroes that liked going dual-lanes were nerfed. I'm talking about: Night Stalker, Skywrath Mage, Windranger and Leshrac as supports and Beastmaster and Doom as cores. Also, item changes favor Enigma. Midas cooldown was reduced by 10 and Aeon Disk (the best item against Enigma) was nerfed severely. All of those make Enigma much better than he was before (as if he was bad lol). The only question is: where should the support from the offlane go? Roaming is bad, sitting mid is bad and trilaning is also kinda meh. Another things that are not good for Enigma are Silencer buffs which made him slightly more popular as a pos5 support than before.

What should the balance be between spamming tidebringer to harass the enemy mid and keeping it off cd to get every deny?
