(It is a repost but am hoping it'll not be forgotten)

With the recent Xbox dc's at first I thought it was just a normal game crash or disconnect. But it isn't often that my internet goes out in the whole damn house all of a sudden... twice! (Within the same match) Then when I realized what was happening I used my phone hotspot, and then I was safe from the random disconnect. But guess what, then all of a sudden within a minute or realizing they can't out my internet, my friends connection die. Like wtf it couldn't have been more obvious. Then I realized after the match that the same thing has happened to me about a week or two ago, and it was the exact same players in that match as well...

I have already reported these guys on Xbox and was wondering if there is anything else I can do? Won't post their gamer-tags cause I don't know if the post will get removed, but one dude has 2 characters and the other has 3 in their gamer-tags in case anyone else realizes too.

Edit: I am being asked who the players were doing this in my scenario so here are their gamer tags: UJ and LCZ

If any of the mods feel like this is witch hunting or are going to delete the post let me know and I'll just delete the last part, but I wouldn't share this if I wasn't sure.

For me (Dutch) the new login reward comes at 11AM. However, up to at least 2+ hours later, my daily bundle does not change. Could this be timed with the login rewards?

Confessions Of A Whale About Daily Bundles. . .

I was at first a bit salty about seeing 50 bucks worth of skins being bundled off at 20 bucks worth of gems...but I thought if it helps get the community get calmed and happy then its worth it.

I felt like at first my bundles - emotes, emotes, and avatars - was a bit insulting. Then all of the sudden I am getting bundles of skins that in 4 years have never been available for purchase. So now Im like WOAH! Bottom line, while I have taken pride in having the rare skins, I am happy to see plenty of folks enjoying them and not having to shell out the cash I did.

Sometimes I play against a player who is really good with a god that I do not play - and I wish I could give them my rare skins. Steam community trades and gifting would be a great way to stimulate the PC community.

None the less, it has been nice with all the positive postings on the reddit. I hope that all of you have had a chance to enjoy the break from ultra toxic hate and anger, while some of it might be justified. See you on the battlegrounds!

Method to help Achilles

I suggested this before, but it did not gain much traction as it was a wall of text. Now that we know Achilles is 99% p/b rate, i thought i would bring up a condensed version. Achilles is supposed to be a hybrid assassin/warrior. That means he should excel either, but not be great at both. The issues that arise are his passive. He gets (got) a ton of free stats so he dominated. He could effectively be both assassin and warrior at the same time. I think a simple change can be made by making his base stats weak, but in the methodical way: compare each stat to an average warrior and average assassin and pick the lower. For example: assassin would have lower base protections than average warriors so give him the assassins protections.

Do that for each stat. Then, 'refund' the stats with his armor on/off passive. If he chooses to put on the armor, he will gain enough protections to make him an average warrior. This way he isnt gaining anything above other warriors, and he can still flex into either class. The stats should scale only if the normal stats scale with game per class (assassin stats or warrior stats)

Would Ranked benefit from a hard reset?

With the exclusion of duo queue on the horizon, do you guys think a hard reset would be good for the state of ranked?

I personally would like it, knowing that everyone is on the same level playing field, and not worry if someone is being carried by a friend.

But I also think it would be great to have a separate ladder with the ability to queue up as a team, kind of like Heroes of the Storm's team league.

What do you guys think?

Stone of binding

Does anyone else have the issue where stone of binding is no longer showing the aura effect when you cc someone? It used to pulse green to show the range and the aura effect. Now it doesnt show anything. Idk if its a bug or if the item isnt working. Any info regarding that would be helpful

Happy to announce SMITE Prime will be now hosting weekly PS4 tournaments

Hey everyone, as the title says I am happy to announce that SMITE Prime will be hosting weekly 5v5 Conquest PS4/NA tournaments. Yea that means we are now hosting 5 different Smite tournaments weekly.

We currently Hold PC NA & EU 5v5 Conq, 1v1 NA Duel, 5v5 Xbox Conq, and now PS4 NA 5v5 Conq. So we offer every platform, and we hope to offer to every platform and region in the future.

I understand this is starting after the PS4 League qualifiers end and that is unfortuante, but that is due to personal reasons (job, college, and other esports stuff)

Quick info about the tournament:

  • Single Elimination: Best of one
  • 5v5 NA PS4 tournament
  • Weekly on Friday @ 6PM EST (Starting July 6th)

Prize Pool (Per Player)

  • 1st: 400 gems
  • 2nd: 200 gems
  • 3rd: 100 gems

It will increase based on player turnouts
