- [Humor] Everybody right now
- :( all alone.
- I like the concept of finding a totally wrapped gift and then just giving it to someone else as a present. This is re-gifting on a whole new level
- I asked over a year ago, I'm asking again: We need a color blind option, especially now that stops are more important.

- [Feedback] Friends List -- We need an overview to let us know which friends we have already sent gifts to for today
- ‘Lil Failmer
- [Idea] The postcards you get should be added to the map with all the gyms you visited, or on a seperate map
- Alolan Rat in the wild (photo)
- Niantic Support on Twitter: "Trainers, we’re aware of an issue where Friendship Level progress may not increase once per day as intended. We’re working on a fix and will keep you updated"
- So you can have a friend list to hold up to 200 friends but you can only open 20 gifts a day and can only hold 5 gifts in your inventory.

| Niantic Please Tick Our Friends Who We Gave A Gift To Posted: 22 Jun 2018 01:44 PM PDT Example : https://imgur.com/a/O4HJAIG I'm sure anyone here who has over 20 friends is tired of clicking through every friend multiple times today already just to see who we missed and have to give a gift to. I already have 30 friends and it takes more than it should to see who we need to give a gift to. If you have any ideas what can improve how we see who we gave gifts to please comment it! Niantic this better not take two years to do, if it does I'll Texas Smash your computers. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 01:29 PM PDT Isn't this what we all are doing? Especially considering we cannot expand egg space and that Alolan pokemon are adorable. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 07:29 AM PDT Specifically for Pokestops. I'm aware that they change between Blue and Purple for active and used, but as a color blind person, I find it damn near impossible to tell the difference between the two. It's a minor thing, but I have to watch the clock to know when to respin if I'm farming. If a color change could be added as an option, that would be amazing. ...alternately, a timer would be nice. This can't be hard. Now that we are gift-hunting at stops, I'm concerned about wasting time farming stops. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 12:36 PM PDT I have more gifts than I know what to do with, and i live in a moderately medium sized city. I propose, for us city players, to find at least five trainers who are rural, who have no stops at all (like that one poor OP from a few days ago who was considering quitting because he has to buy balls, because no pokestops, because rural) And we gift them once a day. Hence, adopt a rural! What do you guys think? By the way tonight im scrolling back through Reddit so i can find that guy and add him. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 11:03 AM PDT It's getting tedious to click through the list to see which friends I haven't yet sent a gift to. You can't even do left/right swipes like you can in pokemon inventory to get through that list. If we had some indicator of friends we have gifted or a way to filter out those we gifted, that'd be great. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 01:16 PM PDT One day, I was walking between raids with another trainer. We were talking and I was appraising Pokémon to make space in my collection so that I could keep catching. Of course, I was trying to do all of the above as quickly as possible. In my haste, I accidentally hit evolve instead of close and hit 'ok' before I realized what was happening. I now own a 27 CP Wailord. I named him 'Lil Failmer. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 02:32 PM PDT This way, we could see from where in the world we've recieved gifts from or friends! It would be a nice addition to beable to collect the post cards on a map! [link] [comments] | ||
| Alolan Rat in the wild (photo) Posted: 22 Jun 2018 10:04 PM PDT https://imgur.com/a/YlX7E26 Just turned 6am in the UK here, I saw spawns tick over and change. This Rat was previously something else. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 04:09 PM PDT I don't know how to feel about this in the long run. Don't get me wrong I'm loving the update right now it's fantastic I feel more apart of my community. However a big thing that players want to do with the update is build friendship with people and for one they can only hold 5 gifts in their inventory. On top of that you can only open 20 gifts. Most communities have over 50 players in their group and not everyone can raid at the same times that other players can. So what's going to happen now thanks to the limit is players are going to only work towards increasing their friendship with those who they see more than other people in the group. I'm just concerned that having such a small limit is going to divide players within their own community. [link] [comments] | ||
| the latest splash screen is particularly ominous [Screenshot] [Humor] Posted: 22 Jun 2018 01:22 PM PDT Every time I launch the game now, I can't help but see this. Please tell me it isn't just paranoia. [link] [comments] | ||
| Niantic, please let me be my son's friend! Posted: 22 Jun 2018 02:26 AM PDT My son is playing PoGo with a PTC Account. He is under 13 years old. Access to the friends functionality isn't available for him. This is really frustrating and is teaching all the wrong things: do the right thing (use a PTC account with correct birthday) and you are being limited, or lie about your birthday or use your parent's login, i.e. violate TOS, but be able to use everything. I don't want games to set a bad example. It is also really disappointing for a Pokemon game, which in theory should be kids and family friendly. Please change this so I can allow him to use this as well:
I am not a lawyer, so I may be restricting too much, and the first two opt-ins could be already sufficient. [link] [comments] | ||
| The rural trainer gift box connection! Posted: 22 Jun 2018 03:08 PM PDT Are you a rural player in need of some digital friends? Are you a city player willing to help out less fortunate players? Read on! The launch of the friend system gave PoGo players a new way to connect. I realized after adding some personal friends who live many states away that you never have to actually meet your "friends" in order to help them out with gift boxes. The boxes give out awesome rewards that rural players are generally lacking. That's why I decided to create a simple Google Form & Sheets directory to connect city and rural trainers. Are you a rural player in need of the occasional gift box? Follow this link to add your Trainer Code to the directory. No sign-in is required. If you've got some space on your friends list to help out a rural player, click this link to go to the directory. Add a random friend code, and send them some helpful items and eggs! You might even get some gift boxes in return, with eggs from far-off places. With enough people helping out, we'll be able to make this game better for the trainers that Niantic ignores. | [Story] Regice raids today were awesome Posted: 22 Jun 2018 04:07 PM PDT I live in a small town. 15 000 people, 3 trainers 30+ who play regularly, a few lower level players (anywhere from 10 to 28). As you can imagine, Kyogre was impossible for us and most legendary raids were as well. We only ever beaten 1 Entei and 1 Latios here, with the help of higher leveled people who were visiting from other cities. This ended today. Me (was lvl 34 at the time of the raid), two of my fellow local trainers (lvl 32 and lvl 33), 1 friend of mine who visited (lvl 35) and a few others (lvls 24, 11 and 11) managed to take down Regice twice in a row. It was such a great feeling. We took down a legendary raid, finally. And now we know for sure, we are ready for other Regis. I know many people are not excited for Regis, but they might just be some of my favorite 5* raids now. [link] [comments] | ||
| Its cool that I get a postcard with my gift but where did it go? Posted: 22 Jun 2018 06:27 AM PDT I would be great if we could save the postcards that friends sent us with gifts. I will liken this to the "keys" that people collect in Ingress. Many people who play Ingress collect these as keepsakes from places they have been or rare portals (pokestops/gyms) like the White House ( well....) or other famous or contentious locations. I think this would be a cool addition to the game! [link] [comments] | ||
| [Idea] Niantic should increase egg capacity. Posted: 22 Jun 2018 05:05 PM PDT What is there to lose here? What is the downside of allowing us to carry more than 9 eggs? If anything, more egg capacity means most people will buy more incubators. I understand that there has to be a limit, otherwise people would get eggs to infinity and only incubate the 10s or alolan, then let the 2s and 5s rot... But 9 seems a bit low, especially with the release of the 7k alolan eggs... [link] [comments] | ||
| My Starter and my first shiny char Posted: 22 Jun 2018 12:47 PM PDT Gonna start with the picture: http://imgur.com/gallery/OXy1nPO When I saw that my first shiny on the May community day was CP 10, I took he opportunity to make it identical to my first Pokemon which I evolved earlier. Two beautiful CP 36 Charizards! [link] [comments] | ||

| I just realize “The gentleman badge” reference in the Pokémon go trade social system. Posted: 22 Jun 2018 06:56 PM PDT So in the anime during its first season there was an episode where ash and the gang got invited to a cruise known as the S.S. Anne where it was full of trainers (which is later revealed to be a ploy by team rocket to steal every trainer's Pokémon) so later on ash met this character (called or refer to as gentleman) battled and lost to ash's butterfree. But after the battle he introduced ash to the concept of trading and how he should trade his butterfree away for a raticate. Long story short later on the episode ash traded back and got his butterfree. (Out of regret) But this is a cool reference the devs at niantic put as a badge. [link] [comments] | ||
