Patch 1.20.1 theHunter™: Call of the Wild |
| Posted: 13 Jun 2018 11:27 AM PDT Hey all, Before anything else we want to start this update by saying - thank you for playing theHunter: Call of the Wild, for your ongoing support, for sending in bug reports, for giving feedback and for openly talking about the pros and the cons of our game - it's all of great help to us, not just in the present but also going forward, as we continue to build and expand upon our hunting universe. Yesterday's release was not on par with yours, or our, expectations so we wanted to give you an update on what we are currently doing. A new patch has been released to address crash fixes. This patch will not fix all crash issues but should be a step in the right direction. Stability and fixing the crashes is our top priority now. Additional things that are still in the works are the issue regarding not being able to place decoys (it is is related to what reserve that is being loaded first), also work regarding Geese getting stuck is progressing. It is hard to estimate exactly when the fixes for these two issues will be available but we are doing everything in our power to target a release before the weekend. We will keep you updated on the progress! If you are experiencing the problem of not being able to place decoys, a restart of your game (Exit to Desktop) and/or a restart of your computer has helped some people. If you have more information or questions regarding this, we recommend you check this thread. https://steamcommunity.com/app/518790/discussions/0/1696049513784910216/ Placing 20 decoys per interest area will give you very good chances of breaking a flock. Dismantling decoys to have less in the world has helped people with performance. And finally don't forget to update your drivers as some performance issues might stem for them being outdated. Our work continues and we will have another update with progress for you tomorrow. theHunter: Call of the Wild Team |
