What an insane world we live in, where Mercy is a must-pick support and has been for a long time now. People get angry when people don't Mercy.

Yet if you acquiesce and pick Mercy over Ana and you start wracking up hours - as you will if you play Support or fill Support EVER.

Suddenly you're branded as a Mercy player, doomed to play Mercy until the end of time because "Mercy Main on a non-Mercy role omegaLUL"

How do you do that? You're punishing people for doing what is best for the team. I get it, I totally get why people want Mercy all the time, Ana is high-risk, low-reward. But you can't demand people go Mercy and then you can't complain when people have tons of Mercy hours, especially if they wracked them up during the height of the Mercy meta.

What's even worse, is if they aren't even support players, but DPS who filled Mercy when no one wanted to. THANK THESE PLAYERS, NOT TRASH THEM.

If you label them "dumb Mercy-mains who can't be trusted". Then they won't. Or worse they'll go make new accounts and NEVER EVER fill. Because why would they? They only get punished for filling.

You incentivize being selfish, you incentivize not playing as a team.

And worse, because of all the shit players had to take, Blizzard took drastic action and added private profiles. Now boosters or win traders can hide their activity better.

This community needs to clean up, you're ruining an amazing game.
