| Heroes Lounge Season 7 Signups Have Now Opened! Posted: 28 May 2018 12:31 PM PDT The European amateur league for Heroes of the Storm opens its doors for its 7th season! To sign up, just head on over to the Heroes Lounge Website. Whether you are a full team, a partial team, or just a free agent, players of all level are welcome to sign up. Sign ups close on midnight ending July 1st before the seaoson officially kicks off on the 16th. Last season was our largest yet with over 170 teams competing for title of Heroes Lounge playoff winner, currently still underway! We are hoping for season 7 to be even bigger. You can check out the all the important dates on our Schedule Page as well. If you have never heard about us, or what we do, we are a league for anyone who wants to experience Heroes of the Storm in a competetive setting. If you don't have a full team, or are just an individual who wants to participate, we find a team of players for you that match your ability as best as possible. All of our teams are then seeded into 5 divisions in order to give everyone involved the best possible experience. Each week, each team is given a Bo3 match to play at a time that best suits you. This means that even the busiest schedules can have the chance to play. If you have never experienced Heroes of the Storm in a team based, competitive setting, I truly recommend you give it a go. As u/khaldor put it, its "Heroes of the Storm, the way its meant to be played". | Alarak laser QoL very much needed Posted: 25 Jun 2018 08:40 AM PDT I've googled around for a solution to stop the hero auto priority clicking when a non-hero target is next to them as you need them to be in the center for the quest. And surprisingly there is none, just old unaddressed posts dating back to when it is implemented. As an Alarak main I've had so many occasions where it would have been a triple laser with the auto priority taking precedence over your mouse accuracy ruining a simple quest. It usually ends up with them either in a 4 clump for you to get the quest or somehow them miraculously lining up for you. Please Blizzard can priority hero targeting be togglable as heroes like Diablo would need it for his charge but heroes like Alarak suffer greatly from its implementation too. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 25 Jun 2018 12:41 PM PDT Poll = https://www.strawpoll.me/15965838 So with the new comic we get more look on Orphea and Lady of Thorns and with the datamined picture and voice files(?) on Orphea i guess it's time for a poll. I am very curious about this. I for one started out in LoL and then Dota 2 but quickly abandoned them for my dream game, yeah that is correct, Heroes of the Storm when i got the chance to play it in Beta. I obviously got hooked immediately because i love this idea to see & play my favorite heroes and villains from Blizzards well established and well known games. Games that i played in my childhood in 1996 to now. I am not against getting original nexus heroes (Lady of Thorns looks cool with her mount and lance!) to this game but i think they should be added in a few years and have the focus on the classic & well known heroes of Blizzards oldest universes. Maybe release a Nexus original hero once per each year? Anyway, i have to cut off this wall of text now. Posted: 25 Jun 2018 02:42 AM PDT I know BW is niche currently and Q build even more so, but almost every other hero gets mana costs for an ability lowered when reducing its cooldown. Once they hit 20 unless you can win fast it will take out your minions and structures it's really hard to deal with cause hammer has protection of all kinds and it's one lane so you can't drive him to move sieges up and kills you unless you can get to him and they don't have a healer. | Shuffle Pick being forced in custom games is annoying Posted: 25 Jun 2018 07:46 AM PDT I have a local group that frequently gets together on LAN. We'd like to have our own custom games on one lane maps where we pick our heroes. We used to be able to do this, but this shuffle pick thing has been forced on us - even if we select draft, it goes through draft and then forces shuffle pick again. Super annoying. Another annoying thing is that our favorite 3 v 3 map is the single lane Hanamura. Why are the single lane maps rotated out? just leave them all in and let us choose our heroes on all maps please! Posted: 25 Jun 2018 07:27 PM PDT I've noticed that if you want to tinker with quests that require globes in try mode you have to do camps or wait for waves to die. Yeah this is easier with ability to speed up the game, but why not just add some low CD globe generator spots in the jungle? Edit and P.S.: In try mode Fenix constantly drops planet cracker on the heal target dummy. Not related, but I noticed it and it's funny. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 25 Jun 2018 03:46 PM PDT Hi all, Four of my friends and I started playing team league a couple of months ago, and we're pretty bad. We've worked our way down to the lower silver range, but we continue to lose 60%+ of our games so I'm sure we'll keep dropping. We're doing our best to improve, reading/watching many of the guides recommended by this sub, watching our replays together and working on our communication/coordination, trying to better understand drafting, playing heroes we're unfamiliar with vs AI and QM so that we have some idea what they do when we play against them, etc. etc. We're doing all of that, but we recently uploaded our history to hotslogs and I'm wondering if, to more experienced eyes, there are any obvious trends that emerge. Are we drafting really poorly? Under-performing in any particular way? We're open to any and all criticism or advice! Also, if this is the wrong place to post this or if it's generally not kosher let me know, I thought about posting it on /r/NexusNewbies, but that sub isn't very active so I thought I'd try here first.
