| What could be causing stuttering? (PC) Posted: 12 Jun 2018 12:51 AM PDT Hi people, I've recently came back to GTA V, and for the most part it runs perfectly, especially on single player, but sometimes while playing online, the game has some stutters for like 15 seconds or so, or the FPS go down altogether for a good 1-2 minutes. I'm running it on an i3 8100, a GTX 1060 6GB, 2133MHz 2x4GB RAM and a 1TB 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda HDD. What could it be causing it? Is it the HDD, or the RAM? I've been checking out the Resource monitor and Task manager, CPU usage is usually at about 70-80% and GPU usage is around 50-60%. The RAM usage goes near 100%, maybe about 90-95%, so does the HDD at times. Could be both of them causing the stuttering, or only one of them? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 11 Jun 2018 05:55 AM PDT Did they reset saved data or something on GTA? When the game first came out I beat the story and played a bunch of online, and decided to reinstall the game yesterday and story mode had been reset but all my online multiplayer progress was kept. I tried googling it and it suggested to make sure to click on "load game" but no luck there. I've only ever had one Xbox account for like 10 years now.
