PSA about the update for Xbox players

I tested 1 game with Huntress, Freddy and Myers and i have some surprises

-When trowing a hachet with the Huntress, the game no longers freezes for 1 second. Makes hitting survivors much easier.

-Putting survivors on the dream world no longer freezes the game as Freddy, should make hitting people when they get on the dream world much easier.

-Your game still freezes when you go up a level with "Evil Within", but only once when you go up Evil Within 3. Makes getting insta downs much easier after the first lag spike.

Should crouching make exhaustion go away faster?

The Trapper's Beartrap-escape Mechanic

So as our beloved Trappy-boii get's some neat tunings soon, I thought about how bullshit rng is. Rng (random number generator / "luck" / events happening coincidence-based) is something that shouldn't belong in PvP oriented videogames, but in certain aspects it's unavoidable, Dead by Daylight is not different in that regard. I'm not saying "let's get rid of all the rng!". That wouldn't work, Miss Piggy, Hag, Trapper and Freddy would requiere to be deleted from the game, which's obviously a no-go.

What we can do however, is to neglect certain features we actually CAN adjust. This time reffering to the escape-mechanic a Survivor has to face once being unlucky enough to step into a beartrap.

Why would I want to change this? Because it's bullshit for both sides. Sometimes the Survivor escapes after the very first attempt, punishing the Trapper for leaving a chase to claim the trapped prey. On other times the Survivor won't get out after the 15th attempt, fucking you regardless of how hard your teammates stalled the Killer out.

So my concept for the change is quite simple. Get rid of this whole stupid rng-shit. Make it a fix action-in-progress. My personal thought was quite similar to BNP on generators. You have to fight yourself out of the trap for 8 seconds (vanilla-time, increaseable by "difficulty increase-add-ons"), while facing a skillcheck every 2 seconds (tough ones, not the casuals. Overcharge level). Failing a skillcheck will force you to restart said progress.

So Trapper wouldn't just receive an actuall synergy for his Unnerving Pressence Perk (as it'd definetly affect the skillcheck difficulty) but also remove the rng-factor from escaping his traps. Plus 8 seconds should be enough if the Killer isn't at the other edge of the map. The add-ons that currently increase the "difficulty"/trim the rng-chances might then simply increase the duration requiered fighting instead.

What do you guys think about that?
