Posted: 30 Jun 2018 06:51 AM PDT Im currently getting kicked a minute or so after joining any server (DE or UK) and noticed that other players are getting kicked too for the same reason (as seen in the bottom left corner of the screen). Also, every FPP server in DE or UK has a low amount of players. This didnt happen around 14 hours ago when I last played. Is anyone else noticing similar events? Edit: on EXP! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Karma in DayZ. (Long and boring.) Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:46 PM PDT So I was on stress test a couple weeks back, on Discord with my brother, trying to meet up along the coast and scoop up randos. Saw another fresh spawn, engaged in small talk, kept my distance, and invited him to roll with us. Seemed pretty cool. Loot a few houses, chatting in-game. He starts whining about missing features, the mod days, and the loot he amassed in .60 or whatever... No big. But internally, it was Strike 1. We keep looting, and continue down the road again, in plain view, a few melee weapons richer and starvation kicking in for him. Tell my bro to keep some food handy for us on Discord, tell our new acquaintance we're good if we make it to the PD in the next town. Bro is close by. We see a new spawn approaching. I stow my melee weapon and wave to signal I'm not looking to squabble. Guy comes up asking for food or water - new buddy feigns small talk and just bonks him with a bat, and tells me to skin him. I reluctantly oblige, and grab a few pieces for my inventory. Watch him eat. Ask why. He says "wrong place, wrong time." Whatever.jpg. Bro asks why he killed the freshie. Tell him "no clue." Strike 2. We finally converge on our PD, get bro's bearings via Discord, continue looting. Then distant gunfire erupts from the general area of the PD. Acquaintance straight up bails that instant, no tactical comms. See him running away through the windows. Now me and my bro are on opposite ends of the PD, just kinda debating what to do - if anything. I say "fuck it, I'm checking the PD, try to cover my ass." Got in and looted a Makarov, mags, and rounds without incident. Rush across to where my bro is, divvy up some loot, eat, load up, and start the next leg. Then a rando with a (probably empty) rifle pops out of nowhere; we kinda panic and start sticking him up. And he comes on saying "Oh shit, Cad!! Cad?! It's me, dude!" I immediately yell out, "No, he's cool! That's the dude I was rolling with just now! Chill! He's cool!" Bro lowers his weapon. Big sigh of relief. They introduce each other... Then I took out my Makarov and quickly fired 5 shots into him point blank, dropped the freshie meat in prox next to the body, and said "run, run, run, we'll get aggro." Bro just laughs hysterically saying "Oh fuuuck... that was cooold, man. WTF." If you're gonna adopt a dick playstyle, then maybe don't flaunt it to strangers. :) Sorry, friend. You earned that one.
