- Drawings of two legendary colonists I've had: Trado, a brutal swordsman; Bowman, a heavily-augmented sniper.
- Nine years old colony in extreme sea ice challenge(modded). Randy has been good to me.
- Shen, AWOL
- Going to need some help eradicating this 30-hive super infestation.
- Made a clone colony with mods
- New to RimWorld and thought I'd set up a chemfuel farm with boomalopes... #CassandraSaysNo
- I would love to see watch towers added and other things that revolve around base building and defenses. I'm talking about vanilla not mods
- Hmmm...
- Why insult someone when you can make a sculpture of them being a loser?
- My three year-colony, just seconds before it was eradicated by a raid with three times as many fighters as I had
- A first sketch of a scene that may be in an upcoming comic of mine, what do you think I can add to make this feel more "rimworldly"?
- My colonist had a bad week.
- Visitor went had a pyromaniac episode and lit my chemfuel stockpile on fire... Somehow, I don't feel sorry for her.
- I have made a Horrendous decision...
- "Infestation Alert" Ahhhhhh Fu-... Oh. Well that's not so bad.
- Where did you hear of rimworld and what made you buy it?
- Got distracted for 4 minutes, wiped out by mad rabbit
- Pictures taken moments before and after disaster, 15 aprimay 5500, colorised
- Hi its me again and i drew a Boomalope
- I am thinking about buying Rimworld, should i get i at full price or wait for a sale?

| Posted: 08 May 2018 08:16 PM PDT About a year into my tribal colony on Randy rough, I'm doing okay. I have a decent base set up, a food surplus and some basic defenses. They named their husky Failure, which in hindsight was a bad omen, but otherwise things are going well. I manage to steal a sniper rifle off a dead raider, which is pretty useful as no-one can make anything better than composite bows yet. I give the magic bullet wand to my best hunter, Sam. Sam is one of my starting colonists. I had to amputate her leg due to an infection (the first thing she did after recovering from that was go for a walk, which made me feel bad for laughing). The doctor proposes to her right after cutting her leg off and she accepted, possibly high on painkillers but still in the mood for love. He's over twice her age but I'm happy for them. Next day, another raid hits and her yorkshire terrier Unstoppable is ironically killed in his heroic defence of the colony. She freaks out and locks herself in her room, so I tell another colonist to bury Unstoppable and he accidentally puts it in a mass grave for rotten animal corpses instead, so I have to exhume it and put it in a proper sarcophagus. Barely a day later, a poison ship lands. I tame a bunch of boomalopes and start building a wall around the ship for some fun explosions, but one of my colonists strays too close to the ship and triggers a scyther and a centipede. Panic mode. My best shooters get into position behind their sandbags and start plinking away. It's a full total war situation, with my non-combat pawns repairing sandbags, delivering food and patching up the injured. This is their WWI. Their trial by fire. Sam is downed almost instantly with a shattered femur. Her bleeding torso is carried back inside and her other leg stump is patched up. I give her a smokeleaf joint because I feel bad for her. Meanwhile, her fiance picks up her rifle and shoots at the mechanoids for about two days straight. Finally they're both downed and my colonists stagger back inside, where the fiance promptly died. In all the chaos I forgot he had an infection. Whoops. So Sam loses her dog, her fiance and both legs in the same week. On the bright side, I made her some peg legs to shuffle around on and she woke up from the operation with an 'I had a good dream. It gave me hope' buff. Sam is an inspiration to us all. | Got distracted for 4 minutes, wiped out by mad rabbit Posted: 08 May 2018 02:23 PM PDT God dammit. No screenshot due to rage quit, but I was about 3 (in game) days in to a new game, hours spent planning out a base in this fantastic new spawn, and a phone call distracted me enough for a mad rabbit to kill everybody in my base (3 folks) while I was looking at the screen. I love this game. [link] [comments] |
