We had saved money to go to the next PoGo Fest for this summer. We got on as soon as the tickets went live and sat at a loading bar, like most of us. Now we are getting the rejection message and our hopes of going have been dashed. A big frustration is, they allowed 6 tickets to be bought at once. I understand that is supposed to be for the groups or families that played together. But it's not used that way. Scalpers buy the maximum amount possible only to resell the tickets. If you go to EBay right now, tickets are going for 300-500$ per ticket. Now Niantic is going to remain silent and leave questions lingering... Niantic, why didn't you require a PTC or Gmail account login first, to verify if it was a real player. Niantic, why didn't you limit it to 2-3 tickets at a time. Niantic, why weren't your payment methods ready for the mass amount of fans. Niantic, why do we only get one major event like this once a year. English is not my first language sorry xD) need some improvment.. actually a lot... But you can still feel all my love for this game! I made 8 km, 2 km more of what i thought, because of PoGo gps accuracy . Thanks you PoGo! You are such a nice game! | [Discussion] My theory on why ticket sales went so poorly and why we won't see any improvement. Posted: 11 May 2018 05:51 PM PDT Firstly, let me stress, I have virtually no insider knowledge here. While I'm not completely speaking from a place of ignorance, John Hanke isn't my uncle, so I'm just kinda spitballing here. Second, counter to my title - there is an easy way to improve this, and that's stop these ticketed events and go to a European Sarfari-style experience. Okay, that out of the way two of the most common complaints I'm reading is A.) Why didn't Niantic sell the tickets themselves and B.) What's the deal with the 2-week registration window? A.) Ninatic simply isn't designed to do business this way. Niantic sells NOTHING direct to the players. It is always filtered through a third party. Consider: Tickets.com is either the first or second largest primary seller of event tickets... and we saw what happened to their website this morning. Could you have imagined what the mess would have been if Niantic had tried to cobble something together? B.) The reason why you didn't link your PoGo account at time of purchase is simple - in order for this to happen, Tickets.com would have had to design special web protocol to handle this - for one single event. A costly endeavor for little benefit to them/Niantic. Second (and this is most important) Niantic would have had to share user data with Tickets.com. Keep in mind, we players are not even Niantic's primary business target. We are the product they are selling - our GPS data, our play habits, our visits to sponsored locations. Why would they give any of this data (even a list of millions of active email addresses from highly engaged users) to Tickets.com? Instead, once Tickets.com finalizes the ticket numbers on their end, Niantic will set up their own website where folks will link the ticket numbers to their PoGo accounts - all handled by Niantic's servers - allowing them to keep the data confidential. I hope this shines a little bit of light on why it isn't quite as easy as people seem to think. That's not to say we shouldn't expect better of Niantic. We absolutely should. [link] [comments]  |

| Why not sell codes that trigger a special event? Posted: 11 May 2018 11:19 AM PDT We know they have the technology to flip a switch on community day, and suddenly the game becomes funner for everyone from 2 to 5 est and we get multiple spawns of special pokemon. So why not sell a special Pass (Promo Code) that unlocks certain pokemon to pop up all over the world? People would gladly pay $20 to stay in their home area and play the game at their local parks. Niantic would make a killing. Theyd definitely make more money worldwide, because most players would pay that to get the specials. This would avoid the network traffic errors, and prevent people from scalping. It would also calm those of us that tried for an hour to get a ticket, and got nothing. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 11 May 2018 11:16 AM PDT Niantic should have eBay tell people that their Pokémon GO Fest Ticket sold, so that the seller has to send the ticket, but then eBay then never pays the seller, and has the seller send the ticket to Niantic. Niantic can then void that ticket and any other ticket that the scalper sold. And then Niantic can re-open ticket sales and sell the same number of tickets (and maybe a few more) that they voided. Posted: 11 May 2018 12:57 PM PDT Can someone explain to me why the Go-fest (or other special event sales) could not be run through the shop already present in pokemon go? I realize that when pokecoins are purchased, 30% of the fee goes to the apple or google store the currency is bought from. So raise the price 30%. I would rather they charge $ 26 per ticket and register my account immediately. As it was, it cost $25 anyway after the ticketing fees. [link] [comments]  |

Tells us latias communes with the infinite and then that most people cook hamburgers wrong and you should only ever flip them once. He then proceeds to do a color commentary for the entire raid. Girl he's with is quiet too. Clearly tripping. Slowly removing clothing until her shame is revealed to god and during the bonus challenge several people took ar photos of latias with this naked tweaker. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 11 May 2018 10:02 PM PDT Surely there's been discussion before of some of the really odd movesets that some Pokémon get that aren't of the same type as the Pokémon, yet can actually be useful. Question is, which ones are the most usable, and against which Pokémon? I have an Arcanine with Snarl (Dark) and Wild Charge (Electric). Would this combination of Fire, Dark, and Electric be particularly effective against a certain Pokémon? [link] [comments]  |

When I use my raid pass to start a raid and lets say I'm not able to kill the boss before the timer runs out. Then I have to use another raid pass to get in?
