Like someone said earlier here, the game heavily encourages you to play the least you can. Log in for 3 dailies, done! Quit game and come back tomorrow. I played for almost the whole day yesterday and I barely got any money added to my vault.

I'm not complaining, I just wish you'd get more. I love the game a lot and will still play for hours on end even without rewards, but I feel like it'll be nice for dedicated players and maybe motivate other players to play the game more.

Launcher help game immediately crashes

so i bought the game on steam back in like december but never really played it until wanting to awhile back but every time i try to launch it, it does the "preparing to launch" then immediately closes the game. the launcher doesnt even load. ive tried verifying the game cache twice and it says everythings there. ive contacted tripwire support and theyre no help giving me the classic "its your drivers or your antivirus" which ive checked both and they arn't the problem. i dunno this is my last place i can think to ask. please help?

Spitfires are really underrated, specially for gunslingers.

I started fucking around with them doing HoE solo just for fun, but I noticed I was doing so much better with the spitfires than the M199's. Here's why:

1) the spitfire has insane stagger, this stagger coupled with the gunslinger's speed makes it impossible to get trapped anywhere. Even scrakes take a knee after some volleyfire from the spitfires. (This is true in multiplayer too). This makes it really ez to weave into a wave light everything up and then weave out to start lighting up the next crowd while the old crowd starts succumbing to the DoT flames.

2) big ass projectiles:
Headshots have never been easier, hitting crawlers, stalkers and all that good shit is child's play. Because of the huge projectiles sometimes I'll hit stalkers without even trying just cause they were in the way. The projectiles also mean that I never have to slow down to ADS, meaning more time spent moving, less time getting boxed in.

3) stalkers on fire can't recloak, I'm not even sure if burnt ones can.

4) Rack em up damage boosts spitfire's flames in addition to the projectile, and because the projectile is so huge it's really ez to get that 50 percent going. When I'm holding down a hallway with the spitfires the whole hallway eventually ends up on fire and the chokepoint is constantly cooking zeds with +50 percent more damage.

5 ) Zed's on fire panicking, equal more map freedom and more tactical flexibility for your fast moving gunslinger.

6) Insane reload times.
Do you like reloading? I fucking live for reloading and the spitfires let me savor every second of it.

Only caveat with the spitfires is you have to get close up to be accurate, but I find this con to be trivial with the amount of stagger the spitfires are capable of, the danger of getting close up is virtually eliminated.

Overview: The Exterminator is the perk that makes everyone's lives easier. Master of debuffing zeds and softening them up for other perks to dispose of, the Exterminator uses a variety of poisons and gases to weaken zeds for their Squad. Skill choices affect how Exterminators dole out death, by means of stacking large amounts of poison damage on zeds, or by infecting hordes of zeds with a variety of slows, poisons, and debuffs. Hans would be jealous.

Any recommendations for offsetting ADS sensitivity with the wonky SS scopes?

Exposition shouldn't be necessary for those who already know what I'm talking about, the xbow/M14/railgun scopes are sux (not visually, functionally, they move weird). I know all the different classes of guns have different FoV zooms but I've found a decent medium sens that I've gotten accustomed to and feel no need to change it for any of them. But I cannot for the life of me find a sensitivity that my muscle memory can tune into for the weirdo scopes the SS weapons use.

The zoom sens uses a percentage slider, so unless it doesn't truthfully work using percentages or I'm actually that stupid, I should be able to figure out a proportionate value to set it to based on what others use with what DPI (or are the percentages not properly proportionate?). So if you play with those weapons a lot and think you've got it figured out pretty good, I'd like to hear what values you use.
