Two Mirage bugs/quirks with Imaginary Axes

I decided to pick up Mirage today so I wanted to grind on the DPS golem. After about 30 minutes of grinding, I was dismayed to see that I was hard stuck at 27k. I'm usually pretty capable at rotations, hitting at least 90% benchmark on other classes I'm confident on. I thought it was a problem with my own play but it turns out I found two issues with Imaginary Axes. I'm curious if this is my misunderstanding some mechanic or if these are actual issues. Also note that this was not during my benchmark attempts so I know I have all buffs and no spotter/ea.

  • Issue 1 - Imaginary Axes won't fire if you dodge at the end of your third auto. Here's a gif to illustrate.

  • Issue 2 - Imaginary Axes resets your auto attack chain only if you're standing in the target's hitbox but does not when you are outside the hitbox. Here's a gif of normal auto chains with imaginary axes while outside the hitbox. Here's a gif of the same interaction while standing inside the hitbox.

Want to stop clicking my skills, where and how do I start?

I've been clicking at least 60% of my skills since I started playing in 2015 and just lately I noticed that it's probably not the most efficient way to play (which is kinda obvious, but it was never really a problem for me). I just bound my utility skills to some keys but when I played a PvP match to try it out, I still clicked the skills almost every time, because I lost too much time to find the new bindings. So how do I do this? I want to bind 6-0 and maybe two F Skills, what would be the "easiest" keybind for them? WASD are already taken obviously, as well as V, X and Q. My hands are quite small (I can barely reach 5 while running) so I basically can't use half of the keyboard. I'd really appreciate some tips.

Why do you main the class you main?

I always wondered why people mained different classes. So I thought I would just make a post and see what people say.

When the game first came out I was a guardian main just because I really like the class and what it bought to the table. One of the biggest things to me was that it was a great solo class since I didn't know anyone who played. Then after a year of playing I found out how easy rangers are with their pet to solo content. I also found out they can have permanent movement speed so I could 100% the map easier. Once I went ranger I haven't looked back.

Now I have a lvl 80 of every class that I can play whenever I want but if I had to say what class I main it would be ranger.

New LW Episode - Optimist vs Pessimist vs Realist

So I'm guessing that we will get a trailer today/tomorrow (wherever you live), otherwise they can't keep their release cycle of 2-3 months.

What are your predictions content wise ?

Optimist

  • good story

  • challenging fractal without a bunch of trashmobs

  • new bug-free raid

  • cool looking new legy

  • update to current events

  • a new map with an epic world boss

  • a full armor set achieveable trough the new map (pls)

  • more (hopefully) good balancing

Pessimist

  • bad story and braham still being grumpy

  • map with nothing to do

  • ugly new legy

  • new underwater fractal

Realist

  • ok story

  • decent or cool new legy

  • cool map with at least something to farm or a new jp

  • new fractal that's better than the last one

  • more gem shop stuff

Would like more collections for ascended armor

I'm a pretty casual player, and I do almost exclusively open world. Also 90% of my playtime is on my ranger. That being said, I'd like to have a full set of ascended gear, for the sake of completion/stats etc.

I've filled out my trinkets with Season 3, weapons from specialization collections and Caladbolg, and chest piece from the leystone collection. I'm probably going to look into the bioluminescence collection very soon.

I've looked at the Experimental Envoy collection, but that means doing raids, which means either buying or crafting new gear, since I run a power GS ranger. I don't particularly enjoy crafting, and as far as I know, I can't get harrier via TP. Amberite also means crafting.

Also, I just really like collections. They take me around the world, and I don't mind grinding out DS or hearts or whatever. Maybe even put some time gated items in the collection (like with the Henge), if they're worried about acquiring gear too quickly.

Im having an identity crisis

I haven't touched guild wars 2 since about when the beta (testing) for path of fire was released. so around 8-9 months. this of course means i haven't played my characters in a while. I don't feel any "connection" to any of them, like you would your main champion on league or something, i guess i'm just disconnected from the game. I used to play a reaper as my main, but what i managed to try of the new theif spec seemed fun. Any ideas on how i should approach coming back to the game?

Cursor jumps around after tunring the camera

Recently when i use left or right click to turn the screen after i release the click, my mouse cursor sometimes jumps in the direction i was turning my camera instead of reappearing where i started to right/leftclick.

Usually it ends up in some corner of my screen and i have to search it for a moment.

I am using a drakonia razer and yolomouse.

Help me understand GW2 Progression

I really want to get into Guild Wars 2 more. I have heart of thorns, I've the story quests. But mainly I've been a strictly spvp player. I really want to get into all of GW2 has to offer as I feel its the perfect casual MMORPG for me as I get older and RL becomes more of a priority.

I have 3 level 80s, a guardian, mesmer, and warrior but I never understood the pve/progression of GW2. Can you guys explain to me what I should be doing, how I progress in gear and legendaries, etc. I believe I have full ascended gear on my guardian but I want to start getting legendaries and do fractals and dungeons and get those mastery? points higher but idk what to do or where to begin. Also why are there quests that I have to unlock with gems, are they required?

I would also like to join a big noob friendly guild if it's possible, I believe im on the server darkhaven.

Keys from Map Completion

I have done Map completion in Crystal Oasis 8 times this weekend as I was finishing off my PoF spec collections. Every single one has just given me 1 charge.

Those odds are quite heavily stacked against me, has anyone else had this type of pattern?

Bugged sunken chest? Already open.

Today I went to do "Blood in the Water" to get my daily key. Went to Mount Maelstrom to kill the vet krait at the chest when I realized the chest was already showing as opened. I took a SCREENSHOT showing that Blood in the Water is not complete and that the Maelstrom chest hasn't been opened this round.

Killed the 10 krait, got my key, and the chest was still open.

Edit: Just checked Timberline, too, and it's also "open" even though I haven't done that one this round.

Hey folks!

Question on how the mechanics of epidemic and conditions work.

If Player A applies conditions to Target A, and Player B (Necro) casts Epidemic on Target A, do the conditions apply to other Targets based on the Condition damage of Player A, or Player B?

Same question for when using other skills to pass conditions from yourself to enemies.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! Cheers!

I main a power mirage and i have it fully geared, but i tried holo and i find it really fun and have a lot of success with it. What do you guys think plays a better role and has better luck in roaming fights?
