- TIL there is an empty Steam depot for Czech version of Operation Flashpoint. Depot was created in 2015 and presumably supposed to contain the original Czech dubbing, but since seems abandoned.

We could try Overthrow again if it's been updated a lot recently too. Really just want some missions that we can do together and just save and come back to the next day and continue. | Posted: 26 May 2018 10:13 PM PDT Obviously ArmA 4 will come out at some point, but does anyone see it as unnecessary for now? I mean ArmA 3 now has a lot of content and is a pretty stable platform. I feel that ArmA 4 would really have to make a big leap over ArmA 3 otherwise it would feel a bit pointless, even though ArmA 3 has been out for a while now. I'm sure BI knows this but just wanted to generate a bit of discussion about it. It remains to be seen what Enfusion could do for ArmA, but there would have to be large improvements in graphics, physics, animations, collision detections etc.. bringing it closer to something like Frostbite engine in those areas, whilst of course still retaining the ArmA sim feel. It might feel a bit like 'ArmA 3.5' otherwise. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 27 May 2018 12:52 AM PDT Recently after a bit of time away from the game I've started trying to play some dynamic recon ops to get myself back into the flow of game play... However when trying to edit loadouts at the beginning of the mission the virtual Arsenal takes forever for the progress bar to load and even when it completely fills it doesn't actually load. | Posted: 26 May 2018 06:46 AM PDT Looking for as many good ones of these as possible for my group. We do kp_liberation but we are looking for some other missions to switch things up a bit. I've seen quite a few COOP missions recommended but they all seem to use CUP instead of RHS and we aren't really a fan of the lower quality assets in CUP. The steam workshop is really bad for actually finding high quality content so I hoped some people in here might know some from personal experience? Cheers for any help! EDIT: Also, if anyone could point me in the direction of a very straightforward ALiVE tutorial on how to make a standard mission that'd be much appreciated as well. I've tried to use the one on the ALiVE wiki but I ran into some issues with it, I think as it was made on a much older version so some smaller things have changed [link] [comments]  | ||
