Are you a returning player? Or maybe you're just a new player looking for help from Erenor's veteran adventurers? This thread is dedicated to those who seek help in the game of ArcheAge. No question is stupid, and all are encouraged to ask! Better to be informed than to be ignorant willfully. There is a ton of great information to be found. | Posted: 24 May 2018 10:59 AM PDT I really wanna start playing ArcheAge, but i have no idea what to do. First of all, should I really start on the fresh start servers? Since its a progression server, would that mean the gear I farm for will be constantly made irrelevant as new content is released? Shouldn't I just go for the legacy servers then? Which one would be easier to progress being 100% F2P? I also heard FS server is kinda dying already, is that true? And then, I'm not sure what class to play. Sure, I should play whatever I find fun, but I'm going F2P on a game that is very infamous for being P2W. So I feel like picking one of the stronger options. I was excited about a DPS healer, but it seems that doesn't work too well anymore? I like archers but I hear they are pretty bad with high ping (which is totally my case). Actually, I think I like all archetypes, warriors, mages, assassins, I don't have a preference. I was looking forward to a class that is self suficient in a way, as I like playing solo and would like to do open world 1v1, 1v2 stuff. So Paladin seemed like a nice option, as it seems they are off-tank, off-dps and off-healers at the same time. I have no idea on their viability tho. Any thoughts? Also, should I just pick a main for PvP and play it? Or should I do something like creating a class to farm PvE, to gear a PvP char later? Maybe go with something that is good at both PvE and PvP? I heard alts are important, why is that? And how actually P2W is this game? I'm quite used to playing P2W games, and I think people exagerate too much. Is it realistic to have fun in open world pvp without paying? Sorry for the load of questions, and thanks in advance! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Was 4.0 DR now coming back what should I play? Posted: 24 May 2018 05:28 AM PDT I was a DR in 4.0 I had Epic Obsidian plate armor, Divine Obsidian Sword, and Divine Ayanad SS. I am not sure where I should be headed next. Looking for a PvP build and a PvE build (grinding) that I could swap between the two when I need to. [link] [comments]  |
