New mod: Room Sense. Toggleable panels to show relevant room stats, such as beauty, cleanliness, etc, over appropriate rooms using graphical meters

Hopefully this mod I just created is useful to some folks. It helps you get a quick overview of the state of your important rooms, with a toggleable overlay providing graphical representations of the stats relevant to each room's role (e.g. wealth, beauty, cleanliness, etc) as "meters" for each stat.

This mod is hands down the most useful mod I've ever installed, across any game.

If you don't know, it's a QOL mod that adds features like Urgent Hauling, Select Similar, Forbid/Allow All, Harvest/Mine All, Finish off etc.

It's super useful, doesn't change the focus or gameplay at all negatively and is regarded by many (Including myself) as a must-have for your colony.

Cthulhu Town by AdventureDepot

Welcome to the Town of Innsmouth

Town Layout, high res

Progress Album With Modlist, Timeline, Wealth and pics of incidents, like Tornado and Deep Ones.

Start conditions: Lovecraft storyteller x2, Permadeath, Rough(lowered after third year to Base builder), 14 villagers and extra materials.

Did take help with dev tools after several years to add more colors of stone blocks, also helped myself to hide wiring inside natural stone walls, and finally to make myself an ocean and some cliffs. No other cheating was made, all structures are built through sweat and tears. All of the turrets were destroyed for the photo shoot tho.

A joy to play, a video highlighting design and the life of each pawn is in need really. For example the allowed area for pawns to walk is hand picked so they wont try to walk over time consuming alleys/fences/stones. Many of the coolers are partly hidden behind trees. geo-thermal stations are redesigned into some towers. Overall it is a game made for fun.

My favorite area is the Tavern, loads of food, cigars and alcohol for visitors as well as citizens. Outside is a town square with caravan spot, sometimes filling up with the whole square with arriving caravans from all the factions. Each side of the square houses visitors and rich loyal citizens in stone houses.

There are a few error messages tho, so the mod list is not fully without problems, but is playable.

Looking for advice on how to remove a boomrat.

A boomrat went mad, but nobody got hurt before it was downed.

The problem then was that it was right next to some wooden buildings, so I thought it'd be easier to rescue the boomrat and let him leave on his own accord.

The problem now is that I only just realize that his spine is shattered. So now he is inside a mostly wooden building, but also sleeping at the foot of the bed of the person who rescued him.

Is there any way to remove him, or do I just need to clear the room and light his fuse?

With Combat Extended, does the mechanoid AI seem strange to anyone else? Some of the Scythers are going behind walls and pacing indefinitely.

This seems to be happening when scythers are attacking my base, and I'm defending from a good position. I've got turrets and embrasures, and when the Scythers come under heavy fire they turn back to find the nearest wall. This is consistent with how human AI behaves, but then the Scythers will often just sit there or pace indefinitely. It's annoying for me, but I don't think it makes sense for them either, since they stop making any effort to attack me (until I go hunting for them).

Remove 'exit map timer' mod?

When you have an encounter or raid an enemy base once you finish there is a counter that will force you to repack your caravan and leave the map. Is there a mod out there that either removes this timer or extends it for a very long time? Because i need more time in order to ship out those Mechenoid bodies ;)

I also kinds want to try raiding a faction base and then using it as my own after.

I have been playing rimworld for years, but this is the first colony I would consider truly successful, but it came to its end after a mechanoid raid caused some sort of game breaking AI glitch. I built it in 194 days.

So, a couple of caveats: 1) I'm not the most familiar with this community, so if its already been done, well 2) I'm probably going to end up posting it anyways, because it's kind of feels like an achievement to get so many systems running together successfully.

I've done this often in the past where I just run through the community workshop like a kid through a candy store and just grab everything, but after years of doing this, it's become painfully obvious how tedious and intimidating it can be to actually get working.

Currently I'm reorganizing a new list on my laptop, so if by the end of it anyone's interested, I'd be happy to transfer it over to a post and provide some steps to doing it.

Why does my cleaner refuse to work?

I have no clue why, but after starting up my game today, my bunker became exceptionally filthy and my dedicated janitor wasn't working. Even during a work schedule he just idled around and refused to work. What do I do?
