Scp-707

Posted: 03 Apr 2018 05:13 AM PDT

Item # : SCP-707

Object Class: Euclid

Image of SCP-707

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-707 is to be kept in a classical reinforced enclosure made of 4 walls, a floor and a ceiling, each comprised of 7 centimers reinforced steel. Every 8 hours, a new guard is to be placed behind a reinforced window layered with a semi-transparent mirror. The security personnel is to keep visual contact with SCP-707 and report any unusual behavior. At no point should visual contact be broken for over 30 seconds. Guards should never attempt to communicate with SCP-707.

Every device capable of recording, or taking pictures should be left near the entrance of the Containment Area. Any break in this protocol may lead to a Containment Breach. This includes, among others, cameras, cellphones, unmanned drones, laptops, etc.

Should a Containment Breach occur, 2 EMP [REDACTED]-type are to be dropped within the enclosure. The recording devices should be destroyed immediately.

Description: SCP-707 appears to be a man of unknown age due to his wearing of a ballistic mask. Moreover he carries a ballistic vest, a shotgun and an SMG, although he does not seem to try and use them. SCP 707 also carries an electrical device on his back. Electrical readings of the room appear to suggest that this is the device that allows him to appear invisible to cameras. It is as of yet unknown how this device is powered.

Origins of SCP-707 have been traced back to Korea, with the help of Pr. [REDACTED]. SCP-707 will sometimes attempt to communicate, although rarely, both in Korean and English. Further analysis of SCP-707 accent and dialect have led to the belief that he hails from the province of [REDACTED]

When recorded by any kind of camera, SCP-707 will suddenly disappear from view, both on the video feed and from plain sight. Although SCP-707 has not shown any particular malice or violence during Containment Breach events, he has responded with extreme efficiency to any direct menace to his safety. As such, SCP-707 is to be kept contained within the Foundation's facilities for observation and containment.

Addendum: the visual data contained thereabove was collected by junior security personnel u/XN003. It is as of yet unknown why this data collection did not lead to a Containment Breach. Regardless, this blatant breach of protocol was severely punished. u/XN003 has thus been demoted to D-Class and the Security Clearance required to access the surroundings of the enclosure have been updated. -Dr Eisenstein

Unpopular Opinion: Outbreak was a waste of time

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 06:24 PM PDT

I appreciate something different and unique and always support it, but not when it barely connects to the true nature of the game/ base content. People play Rbs because of the competitive and rewarding game play, not to shoot some zombies. I would rather have the resources and time spent making outbreak put towards more maps, operators, new game modes, or more importantly fixing servers/ glitches.

Why cant we have a clan/guild system?

Posted: 03 Apr 2018 01:56 AM PDT

I don't understand why this has not been implimented? I'm sick and tired of the lone wolf lottery leauge bull shit nowadays. I want to create a team and name it and see it display on the vs ranked screen, I want the ability to make a tag / emblem to show off and a way to remember comjng across other teams...

This would definitely make me feel more invested in the game with my team and friends, it would also feel nostalgic as so many great shooting games in the past (socom, Vegas, mgo2 ) had clan/guild systems. R6 is almost taking the cake for me but the complete lack of any team system just makes it feel flat and it pisses me off because it could have so much potential!!

Maybe the reason why they don't have a guild / clan system yet is because the menu is janky as hell and it would take forever to load anything?

I was playing with this team of randoms and won like 11 matches straight. It got me thinking, how about an event with multiplying XP, every time you hit the “keep playing as a team” option you first get 2xp then next match 4xp etc. that way it encourages everyone to stay with the same team.
