Pokémon Encounter screens should be more biome/location based. I don’t wanna see a grassy forest while i’m catching a pokémon at the beach. Why not have a beach background and a desert background too?

I'm all for having the option to turn them on, but personally, I didn't really like them. I didn't play other Pokemon games, so there was no nostalgia. For me, they were just made it harder to know what the shadows were. Glad it's back to the regular models.

Yes, we did that!

I'm a shy girl, and while my boyfriend and I are together for 8 months, I'm still a bit shy with his family. Today, he was working and I stayed at their home since I live quite far and that I'm working around their city tomorrow. My boyfriend's parents decided to go hunt pokemons away because we're in a rural place and it basically sucks. They offered me to come and so I did! It was so cool! I caught nice pokemons I didn't have, take part of 2 raids, and 3 of my pokemons are still in gyms! And I had a lot of fun walking around with them. I learned a lot.

Do you have stories like that related with the game? :)

It would be really nice of Niantic to get us an option to turn it on/off, but the reaction was mostly negative (God knows why) so they're probably going to scrap it forever.

[story] I found a Snorlax in the middle of nowhere. Luckiest. Spawn. Ever

to put things in perspective i live in a fairly rural area. there's stops and gyms here and there, but most of the residential areas like where my house is have nothing, with only a few scattered spawn points.

so im out walking my dog and i see not just any shadow, but a fucking snorlax. other than some legendaries and regionals, i have every Kanto mon except Porygon and Snorlax.

so of course i jumped at this opportunity. there's only so many spawn points around my house, so i checked the first one and there he was.

i am just so overjoyed to finally have one of these guys. his CP is nothing special, but i have plenty of good powered mons so im fine that he's not as strong as average.
