I have an idea! Since they're introducing new potions/effects why not an Anchor Effect! Posted: 11 Apr 2018 01:42 PM PDT The Anchor effect would make it so when you have it you sink straight to the bottom of the ocean and the higher level, the faster you sink, it could be used as an effect that the drowned give when they hit you? like husks give hunger, what do you guys think? There's one thing that makes Minecraft's animal mobs unique to me Posted: 11 Apr 2018 03:25 PM PDT With the addition of dolphins, I've noticed one thing about the animal mobs that I really like. It's that they make REAL animal sounds. Parrots don't go "Squawk!" or anything, but they chirp. Horses and cows have more noises than just neighing and mooing. Bears snort when idle, and only roar when angry. Rabbits only squeak when in pain. And I was so happy to know that dolphins don't make those stupid fake Flipper noises, but genuine squeaks and chirps that real cetaceans make. Mojang has really upped their sound design in recent patches, especially with the mobs, and I feel like it's one of those things in the game that goes unnoticed. [link] [comments] |
