Heya Folks,  

You may have noticed when you logged in today, that you had no Firecracker Tickets. Each batch of 1,000 tickets was automatically exchanged for an event llama. We converted the tickets a little earlier than expected. That wasn't intentional, and we're sorry about that.  

To make up for this, we'll be putting two free Spring Llamas in the Loot Tab starting tomorrow April 12th. These two free Spring Llamas will be available in your Loot Tab until our v4.0 patch.  

Tomorrow, our policy for converting event ticket is changing slightly as well. In addition to granting one Llama per 1000 tickets, we'll grant one additional Event Llama for any remaining number of tickets you have below 1000.  

This will also apply to the Firecracker Tickets that are earned today. Meaning if you have less than 1,000 tickets by tomorrow, you'll still receive a llama.  

This means that even if you have just one ticket, you'll still get a llama (so go get at least one ticket now).

Emergency Maintenance - April 11

We apologize for the ongoing service issues, and are working to stabilize our platform.

We had a critical failure to one of the databases supporting our account service, and as a result our login and matchmaking systems were blocked. We limited account traffic and rolled out changes to address timed-out requests to account service nodes, but these initial fixes were less resilient than we had hoped. We're working on more comprehensive upgrades to fully stabilize the system, but will need to go into emergency maintenance to apply them.

Batteries + Nuts & Bolts is enough of a requirement.

3.5 Miniboss Mission Alerts

In response to several threads around low-level players joining high-level mission alerts we turned off the ability for alerts to be played in zones that you haven't unlocked yet in v3.5. We do not currently have the functionality to do anything beyond a simple on/off switch (we can't restrict access to the alert by Power Level, for example), but we've seen your immediate feedback, so as a short-term fix we are reverting this change in Canny Valley and Twine Peaks. We're aiming to get this out April 12th at 4AM ET.

 
We're going to look at the rate of progression through Canny/Twine and make some adjustments, to try and better align progression through them with your power level. Keep an eye out for updates, and let us know your thoughts on the changes.

So the new Neon weapons use Energy ammo

Another set of energy ammo based weapons, another set of energy ammo based weapons that probably won't be used much. Energy ammo is just not sustainable with its crafting cost being so high. It shouldn't use bacon.

Epic no longer care about BR

There were 201 lines in the Save The World section of the patch notes, and only 161 lines in the Battle Royale section.

That means BR is no longer being developed, Epic don't care about it any more, they hate the BR playerbase, and all their attention and future development will be on Save The World from this point forwards, because that's clearly where all their money is being made.

That's how it works, right?

Reduce Energy Ammo Cost

The Energy Ammo just seems too expensive to be practically used over other ammo types (although shotgun shells are also down there in value/resource). With the new weapon set releasing in half an hour and other weapons from events such as the vindertech all using the energy type ammo, I would like to request that EPIC at least remove bacon, from the crafting materials for this ammo. Although farm-able, it is still one of the more annoying resources to find and seems weird that energized bullets would require bacon to function.

This is unacceptable not being able to play a game I paid money for because they took my money, and made a completely different free to play game with it. Updated it more than the game I paid them money for, and now the servers are full because of people who have never even paid epic money. There NEEDS to be a priority for people who have contributed to the full game, or at least for founders, which is the reason FBR even exists.

I'd even accept separate queues for STW and BR. That's like telling Halo players they can't play campaign because too many people are on multiplayer.

Dont Let Super Hero Lama Expire Please

Just logged in to buy Super Hero lamas only to see the services are down. Why are these lamas popping in the middle of the day like this? Same ting happened on the last troll truck lama. Please keep Super Hero Lama up for a whole day for people that cant log in due to your services being down! Upvote for visibility please. These Lamas are FEW and FAR between.
