| Posted: 07 Apr 2018 05:14 AM PDT I've been watching some videos, been playing both D1 and D2, and I've got to admit, the potential of a 4th weapon slot is very intriguing. So if this happened, this is my thought process on it. The first 2 slots are still kinetic and energy. No change there. The 2nd pair of slots would be special and heavy. Special would be shotguns, fusions, and snipers + Fighting Lion. Heavy would be grenade launchers and rockets. Would love to see heavy machine guns return. | Can a seriously average PVP guy compete in Trials? Posted: 07 Apr 2018 08:57 AM PDT When I say average I mean average. I'm a solo que guy mostly quick play. My KD is 1.0 which puts me in the 50th percentile according to Destiny Tracker. Did I mention I was average? My few ventures into Trials were abysmal - my team was in a room and the other team was bouncing around like ping pong balls. I'm not sure I landed a single shot. My question is - who's playing Trials? Who are these people with 2+ KDs? Or is that just a function of playing with a team? Just curious to hear thoughts, thx. | Hai, I know all the memes about the down of the game BUT... I wanna play it so here is my post. Posted: 07 Apr 2018 01:17 AM PDT I bought the game last Sunday, I'm at the first quest for Io, I still didn't get into the map because I'm doing the campaign with my friend who barely plays. I did some events grinding and crucible milestones, I'm loving the game. It is fun, not as bored as people memes about even tho I did not unlocked half of the game, I guess. I'm at 301 Hunter Power, with some good exotics, I guess. I have simple questions just to prepare for this weekend campaign gameplay that my friend and I are going to do. - How long while skipping cutscenes the actual campaign last for? + Osiris (This is so I can be prepared to medallions and when we can schedule our campaign gameplay) - As I'll be looking down for the lore after I'm done, I'd like to know any reward from any quest that I know beforehand, like a good weapon that will only be rewarded from a specific Osiris quest or even base game. Anything helps. Thanks for the time spent on this post. Have a awesome gameplay and weekend. | Dawnblade - How to Use “Heat Rises” to Charge Your Abilities Quicker Posted: 06 Apr 2018 03:41 PM PDT Link to the video: https://youtu.be/pL6Mz9cNJl4 Heat Rises was buffed in patch 1.1.4. It now provides a 16% cooldown to your grenade and melee abilities when getting kills from the air. In this video I showed how you can use a lightweight frame grenade launcher and an smg to take advantage of this perk. Stun your opponent with the grenade launcher, jump, and finish your opponent from the air with your SMG. This can work with a hand cannon as well, but I recommend choosing a hand cannon with a good handling stat, such as Dire Promise or Jack Queen King 3. I also prefer using the Orewing's Maul grenade launcher because of the auto-loading holster perk. This boring perk surprisingly is the best option (go figure) and has saved my butt so many times. Quick Tips:
