| Posted: 12 Apr 2018 10:21 PM PDT So 4.5 just came out and they implemented the new crafting request feature where players can request to have things crafted for them. As a crafter I thought this was a great idea as over the last few patches crafting hasn't been as good. There was a crafting request on there to craft a stone brick flowerbed and in return I got 111k gold. That is ALOT of gold so who wouldn't take that? But now I am permanently banned because apparently someone was exploiting a glitch that went through trions 1 week PTS. Then someone like me who had no involvement of even making the crafting request and only completing it like every other player would have and I get banned for it. I've spent 2 years playing this game and spent IRL money buying apex and providing patron for myself and this is how the company treats me because they let an exploit get into their game? I told them what items I bought with the gold and said they could remove them from my account. They surely must have logs on who made the crafting request and could IP track that account to see my IP address is different. Maybe if they didn't rush 4.5 release and had longer testing on PTS they would have found this exploit. I'm sure i'm not the only person that was banned from this either. I really had alot of fun on this game and enjoyed it alot and they can just take my account from me because of a problem on their end... | Posted: 13 Apr 2018 03:06 AM PDT New AA player on FS here, recently I've started grinding diamond shore for the prince purses and crates and although the purses are less silver/labor than crates, they still seem quite good compared to the other things you can do right now. Today I checked older posts about larcency and all of them were complaining about how bad it is, is that because of silver inflation on legacy servers? I'm not sure if I should invest a lot of labor into leveling larcency if it means it'll be obsolete within a month, but I have no clue what else to go for either. | Illustrious drops in Auroria, how do they work? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 05:58 PM PDT Playing on FS and haven' gotten around to farming Auroria mobs yet but from what I understand lost garden gear was removed and replaced by Illustrious pieces. I know the Armor and Weapon merchants sell cloaked items for 50g a piece but with gold as scarce as it is I'm curious how the drops work in auroria? Curious if I could just get some tradeskill proficiency for the armor/weapon type I want and craft it from a drop cheaper than paying out 50g a piece. On a 4.5 youtube legacy player mentioned the pieces being "bound" and having to put them up on the commission board for other players to "craft them"? Assuming each piece depending on the armor/weapon class needs the corresponding armor/weapon skill to finish making it but is that just to make it sellable or is it needed in general to use the drop? Also curious on what kind of proficiency is needed on the matching tradeskill to the piece. Not against legacy server feedback but as the build is very custom to FS I wouldn't mind some feedback from the FS also. While on the topic of Illustrious i know the gear resets its grade every time you upgrade its stage. However some players in chat mentioned for the FS only you get a free pass for Illust==>Mag as the grade you had it on Illust will carry over just to mag. | Posted: 13 Apr 2018 12:17 AM PDT Hey all, I play on the NA FS server and I received my 8x8 Garden today. I did the blue salt quest, got my lumber, 8x8 plot, 15 bound certs and the 100 mushroom reward. I went over to Falcorth and could not place my garden. So then I went over to Arcum Iris and still nothing. Opened a third portal to Rookborn and I could not place it there either. All three locations had more than enough room for my plot and I was unable to do anything about putting down my 8x8. Yes I am a Patron (Patron Buff on my Character) Yes I have enough labor (5k) Yes I have 15 tax certs Yes I have 85 Gold (some people asked if I had gold for some reason) Yes I finished the Quest I submitted a ticket to Trion but it's been well over 10 hours. | How to prevent feeling lost again? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 07:57 PM PDT Everytime I come back before I feel ost on what to do. I'm used to gearing in classic MMOs by dungeons and raids but never saw that happening (maybe I'm just blind). My main focus would be PvP, and I loved doing trade runs (but last I played it was the old system and I made my money/leveled by crafting hereafter stones on the ez). I'm currently just a level 30 darkrunner on the freshstart, but in curious if there's any tips I should be doing now, or what should I look forward to do in the future? I also have patron. I know there's a ton of return questions post and I'm sorry for being that guy, but I really do love this game, and a lot of information is kinda dated. | First time player gold (fresh start) Posted: 12 Apr 2018 09:26 AM PDT I know people dont want to divulge their top tier secrets but I recently came over from BDO to try out AA for the first time and have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing. The silver I make is from my two 16x16 farms, I've looked into processing stuff and almost everything was at uber low silver/labor or even net loss for selling the crafted goods. Is grinding a viable option in this game for silver? Also saw some stuff about trade packs but people saying there was a rehaul of these in the recent patch(es?) and I have no idea what to do. If so what's the point in leveling alchemy to try and make gold? Or am I wrong about this? If so is it the same with cooking? What i really enjoy and love doing in this game is gathering, Yes i find it relaxing and fun gathering plants, tree's and ore out in the wild and stumbling upon rares is awesome. I love farming around my house and farm and working on a boat to start getting into fishing. Do you guys think i could play this game long term while ignoring pvp? Would any guild find my skills useful if i was to devout all my time to gathering /farming ect..? [link] [comments]  |
