| SMITE Minor League Qualifiers! Posted: 03 Mar 2018 08:13 AM PST It's time to see who will be in the Spring SML, and there are a lot of teams vying for a spot. This weekend will feature 8 teams from Europe and North America, each region's 8 teams will be split into two different Groups, and each team in each group will play each other in a Round Robin Bo3 style. EuropeEurope will be the first region competing today. Group A:
Optimus Gang won their group and will be playing in the Smite Minor League. Group B:

I like the mode but what makes me hate this adventure is the grind. Having bought the bundle, it will still take me 25 hours (assuming everything goes perfectly and each match lasts 15 minutes) to get the guaranteed fox skin. This repeats once each fox skin that comes out. I understand that they want people to either work for it or buy the chests but this is ridiculous. Posted: 03 Mar 2018 01:11 PM PST Please, spend some time playing before the release, because, you know, most of the people who play any game wants to have some fun, and seriously, this adventure it's NOT fun, it's "easy", except for the CuCu mob, and repetitive. Another adventure that mages doesn't fit in. In top of that, we have to play it A LOT, even with the bundle, to get the Rat skin, 3 times! It's so epic how Thor starts to bring all the parts onto his body, and slowly is immersed and transformed into a big giant Gundam. So fucking cool! All of the other skins just automatically change and have next to no model change animation (obviously harder to do with models that change with level) The emphasis on the model change really makes you feel evolved and more badass and makes you notice the epicness of the skin more. | Enjoy the game, but terrible at it Posted: 03 Mar 2018 07:52 PM PST I keep coming back to smite at a friends request and I always tend to stop playing for the same reason: I always get destroyed every game, I have about a 30% win rate and I never seem to be contributing to the match. I know I'm a terrible player rn and want to improve but it's no fun to play matches where I lose about 80% or more matches because the other team is just destroying me. I've put in some time watching YouTube videos and reading guides and all that but I just am not anywhere near as skilled as the players I always end up against. I've put in a total of 38 hours into it (I know it's not a lot compared to a lot of people, but it's enough to get a feel for the game). I like the game, but i can't enjoy a game I know I'm going to lose majority of the time. Any suggestions for a scrub who wants to enjoy/get better at smite? | Why do some abilities don't work correctly on Instant Casting mode? Posted: 03 Mar 2018 12:58 PM PST For some time now, I've been wondering why abilities like Achilles' 3, Susano's 1 or Sol's 2 force the Instant Cast player to fire/cancel the ability using the mouse instead of working like all the other abilities (on Instant Casting) that fire as soon as you press the key. It's really annoying for someone that has been playing on this cast mode for many years, especially when doing AA cancel. Why can't they work like all the other abilities? Is it a bug?
