... we can clearly see that Mew is not near a Pokestop, meaning that there is no way for him to find it. We will have to wait till he catches some Pidgeys and Rattatas that are shown 2 miles away.

This isn't 2017 anymore people, that Mew might aswell be invisible.

[other] The past months have been aboslutely amazing. With multiple mini events, new shiny releases, weather updates, community days etc.. And with the qusts being released for this weekend? I can barely sit still! I honestly cannot wait to get out and explore!!

And with multiple players returning to the game (this might also be related to the weather getting warmer), but atleast in my local community there are multiple trainers returning and reinstalling the game which is always welcome. Also while writing this there are 3.723 people on the sub, which is a lot higher than i have seen in a long time!

Just feels like Niantic is really communicating/listening to the communitybaby steps and it's just overall amazing right now. I really hope they keep up the pace.

TL;DR: I'm just really happy with the direction this game is taking, and hope it will keep going in this direction, so thank you Niantic

As the title reads, lol. I live in upstate NY, and I swear, Niantic considers NY a very dirty and nasty state, or a very, very lush forest.
The weather changes never produce anything they claim, unless it's cloudy or rainy, which then, we get double what we are up to our waist in already.
Does anyone else have the infestation when Cloudy and Rainy weather come along?.

No, not online battles (but those would be awesome too!). I figure with solo quests coming soon we can have some sort of trainer thing. Maybe little character sprites appear randomly around the map, and you can click and challenge them. A 6v6, just a way to make this game a little more like the original games. Maybe get coins for winning, but trainers could be rare or only one or two fights a day.

After seeing so many posts let's push this idea/want to the top! I'm sure alot of you want 1 as much as I do! Why not push it to be a community day exclusive? Along with the obvious shiny's & evo tree + hopefully the ability to have a cosmetic party hat to match for our avatars. Sure it won't be the most popular community day... but it'd still be great fodder candy for those that care about exp maybe even up bug spawns like the bug catching contest from the main series? No idea what the exclusive move would be tbh but I'm all for this! Idc if it's not a powerful meta shifting idea it's more about that dope shiny party hat wurmple!!! So let's make niantic see there's high demand and make it happen!

[Idea] Bring back gym leaders in this fun & interesting way

I was thinking it would be really cool if 1 out of the 6 players that added to the gym should become the gym leader, and this trainer can place a legendary Pokémon on the gym if he/she likes to. The gym leader will be the one that has the highest defender time (or points at the gym, as suggested in the comments).

It may not be possible to select a gym leader directly, as the gym leader will only be decided after all 6 Pokémon are added. Therefore, becoming a gym leader needs to be triggered: are you the player with the longest defending time on the gym out of the 6 players on the gym? Then next time you visit the gym and want to place a pokemon on it, you get a pop-up when you are about to add a pokemon to the gym: "you have been selected as gym leader" and then you can place any pokemon you like, including legendaries. Other suggestions are welcome.

Some benefits: * Gives high level trainers motivation to be more territorial and fight for their golden gyms as well, if they want to. It's still optional to do something with these golden gyms, as there's no reward but the most important one: you feel like you are the king of your castle! * Makes gyms more interesting. Imagine facing Lugia with your army of Machamps, not such a clever strategy ;)
