| DEAR NIANTIC - ideas and suggestions for the devs Posted: 26 Mar 2018 08:36 AM PDT Hey Niantic! You guys made a game we all have a lot of feelings about...and this is our spot to express those feelings and make some statements about ways we think the game could be even better for us - and by extension, you! If you want to complain about the game in a less constructive way please do so in the Salty Sunday - Rage Rants and complaints thread. Here you will find ideas and suggestions - a mix of the positive posts and constructive criticism that reddit's Pokemon Go community have compiled and discussed and up/downvoted by importance and validity for us all. If there's one post on /r/pokemongo you guys should be paying attention to, it's this one, so please do. Hey /r/PokemonGo Trainers! This recurring monthly post is for you guys. Sort posts by "top" to see what has been voted most important so far, but consider sorting by "new" as well to weigh in on the most recent ideas! Please pay attention to the /r/PokemonGo rules for commenting behavior and civility, and use the report button when necessary to alert the mods to any post or thread that needs a review! | Don't ruin the game for other people and kids (Small rant) Posted: 26 Mar 2018 03:23 PM PDT So today we did 3 lugia raids in a row. Was a really good time, we did them all in one lucky egg in our small town. Never had 15 people at legendary raid ever here. So that aside, some people got a shiny lugia. A kid, his mom and me. The kid and I were really excited when we popped it at the same time. (It was my 42th Lugia so I probably screamed louder than the kid :p) After this raid #2 we walked to the 3rd Lugia. While we walk there a few "Diehard Level 40 players" start ruining the excitement. "It's not even a good pokemon, don't even bother powering it up, it's worse than almost all other legendary's, not even that rare, blah blah blah. I saw the kid get more sad with every comment. We walked back to our cars and I told the kid. If you like your Shiny lugia power it up buddy! I'm doing the same! And he got really happy again. Don't give your opinion about IV, Shiny's not being rare,... if nobody asks it. Not everybody cares about what you care about and PLEASE don't ruin Pokemon Go for kids. Ty this was my rant! Sorry for my bad England. [link] [comments] | ||

| [Discussion] Master Ball coming to GO? Posted: 26 Mar 2018 07:11 PM PDT Just think about it. Professor Willow will give you a box after you finish the field research, it will contain stardust and mystery items (emphasis), and a Pokémon will appear. What if the box contained a master ball, and then you can go on to use it on the Pokémon... [link] [comments] | ||

| [Discussion] Niantic.... THANK YOU <3 Posted: 26 Mar 2018 03:52 PM PDT I've been a die hard Pokemon fan for as long as I can remember. All the way back when I opened up Pokemon Blue for my Gameboy..... man have the years gone by. So, to me when Pokemon Go was announced I just couldn't help but getting as many people involved as I could on launch day. Now after a while (a few months before Gen 2 was released into PokeGo) my wife and I got kind of bored of the game and all the issues we were running into, so we stopped. Fast forward to now, and WOW! Niantic you are absolutely blowing us all away. Thank you for finally listening to your community, because in the end all of us just wanted a game that gave the Pokemon name justice and fed into all those years of playing the games at home. All the different elements that have been added to the game, from evolution steps to the newly introduced research feature, are truly creating an experience for all of us. THANK YOU <3 [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 Mar 2018 08:00 AM PDT Who else wants to see Charmander as the next community day Pokémon? Not that I don't like bulbasaur, it's just that bulbasaur was already practically everywhere and the shiny version, while cool, is just a different green. Charmander in the other hand is fairly rare in most places and cmon, shiny Charizard, a blacked out charizard, that's awesome. Maybe It's just wishful thinking but I think that the next community day might be Charmander and then squirtle after him, completing all the gen 1 starters [link] [comments] | ||
| Lv 32 trainer moving from extremely rural isolated area to the city—advice? Posted: 26 Mar 2018 09:03 PM PDT So I've been on this train from Day 1, along with my wife and son. I'm Lv 32, wife is 30, son is 21. We live in an area of the Arkansas Ozarks that has less than 20 Pokestops in the whole county—to "play" we go 20 mi north to a city of 13k people, but for a hardcore day of hunting, go to Branson, MO and load up on items up and down the strip and then going to a retail district area. We've only played with people we have chance encounters with, which aside from community days, are few and far between. We have zero legendaries because we can never seem to find a gym that has a group of trainers at it, and the 3 of us can't take any legendaries down. We'll be moving to the Lansing, MI area this summer, and want to know how folks in the city play. What's all this about EX raids and stuff? What tricks are there for maximizing your XP gains and reaching 40 quicker? I know about Discord, but don't really wanna delve into that until it gets closer to moving day:.. Any tips/advice would be most welcomed. [link] [comments] |
