I urge everyone to read all her posts in the past hour or so because I think it's important for people to see her side of the story, because I saw a lot of people criticizing her during that time, and saying she was instigating drama, a claim I do not agree or disagree with but I think it's important to look at her circumstances as well. Maybe some of the criticism was warranted, but a lot of the hatred was probably way too much and very difficult to bear while being in such a situation, after the failed operation.

Also I think this is the case of endangering a player that Riot mentioned in their ruling, considering it's also the one time Richard Lewis said Riot was right, and considering he was the one who cared for Maria/Remilia during that time it makes sense for him to know first hand about it. And it could also explain to a minor extent why Monte thought that Riot screwed him over hard, because it sounds like this was all on Badawi again just like the poaching.

There is still no Old Lady champion

Don't get all smart about Zoe being thousands of years old or Kalista being an old spirit, you guys know exactly what I mean. I'm talking about the physique being of an old hag lady.

None of that "thousands of years old but looks young" stuff.

I think it would be cool to have some sort of hunched over old voodoo lady witch doctor type but that's just my opinion.

Or perhaps something more along the lines of Ana from Overwatch where the old lady wields some kind of weapon.

EDIT: People are still coming into this not getting it. Hunched over old lady, hag, wrinkles, dentures, bad knees walking stick, granny panties, DEMENTIA explodes

Garena literally makes League unplayable

Prior to 2017, Garena has been using Garena+ as a sort of launcher hub for all their games (LoL, HoN, etc.), so you have to log-in to garena then look for your game click it and launch/update it from there. But in 2017 they decide to shift to a new launcher called Garena2.0. They still supported the old Garena+ launcher until around late 2017, but after that they made updating the game impossible unless you were using Garena2.0. So you uninstall g+ and go to 2.0

Garena2.0 has been filled with bugs since the beginning, and Garena isn't even trying to fix them. Whenever you open the 2.0 launcher, it will immediately take up all bandwidth downloading something (I have no idea what it is), even when your client and games are all updated. When you try to update your game, garena will give you an arbitrary progress bar, at 10% it will say "optimizing resources", at this point bandwidth throttles, and it stays at optimizing resources for about 30 minutes. Here's the fun part about this, let's say your dl speed is 3mb/s. Only 1.5mb/s is going to downloading the patch, the other 1.5mb/s is garena downloading something (something I don't know again).

Okay, so you get past the first 30 minutes of optimizing resources, only half of your speed goes to downloading the patch, and the other half to god knows where. It will download pretty normally until 25%, where they'll tell you garena2.0 was unable to fetch the patch, so it'll ask you to either cancel patching and dont play the game, or download the unzipped patch. So normally, patches are like 600mb or so, but this unzipped patch is about a few gigs in my experience. that may not be much for most of you, but internet is pretty shitty in asia compared to the west. Plus the fact that only half my bandwidth goes to downloading? I can leave it downloading at 2 in the morning, and I can come back after my classes at 5 in the afternoon and it's still not done.

So normally, a patch can take a day to download properly.

The best part is Garena has been deleting forum posts regarding these issues, because fuck you.

And before, someone brings it up, if you think my g2.0 is/has a virus, probably. But I got my launcher from their site. And I've been experiencing this since around nov 2017, and I did a clean wipe of my computer and redownloaded g2.0 from their site in january 2018. So fuck me sideways amirite?

3 games today now i've had someone keep reconnecting only to end up perma dc'd after finally losing connection.

This shouldn't happen in ranked. If a player doesn't have any cs or items by 5 minutes or whatever, you should be allowed to fucking remake.

Rito cracks down on people saying "ggez" but shit like this is ruining the game far more than some people you can mute.

Opening 100 Champion Capsules and sharing you guys the result

TL:DR: I gained: 94600 BE

So through a bug I got myself a butt load of capsules.

 

I opened some (a lot), before realizing that we can do some science with it. So I decided to open 100 of 'em and take note of every single loot received to see what are the chances. My aim is that this would give some valuable data to what these capsules give. As to why 100 Capsules only: 1) metric system and 2) we receive different kinds of capsules through the leveling process and trying to mimic what we could probably get through it is... well. extra work.

 

I had limited resources so all I could do was open a box, type the outcome in a spreadsheet and continue on till I opened 100.

So what can we get from the data? Well the only solid thing I got is that there's 4 outcomes when opening a plain 'ol Champion Capsule. You either get One Champion Shard, Two Champion Shards, Two Champion Shards and 90 BE, or Three Champion Shards and 260 BE. With my data I can approximate that the chances are 40%, 20%, 30% and 10% respectively for the outcomes. Also for the sake of simplicity from now on I'd call them combo 1, combo 2, combo 3 and combo 4 respectively from now on as well, for easier typing and naming.

 

Why does Combo 2 have less chances than the Combo 3 you might ask. I wondered about that too and so I remembered someone talking about Capsules calculate through BE for outcomes. This got me thinking so I checked the total BE received from both outcomes. Combo 2 would net you 3600-4800 averaging with 4500-4800 BE while Combo 3 almost always net 3690 with only one instance of the total BE being 1890. Checking the rest, Combo 1 would often net you 6300 champions with it rarely giving a 3150 and Combo 4 would net you 3410 always.

What does this mean? Well it means that about 40% of the time you only get 1 champion but that one champion would probably be worth more and hopefully be the new ones, while 60% you'd get about 2-3 relatively older Champions - and chump change BE - averaging to about 3600 BE total.

 

Also if you're wondering how did I fair this is what I got:

I gained about 3150 worth of 90 BE and 2080 worth 260 BE for a total of 5230

452080-5230=446850

At best worst you'd have have (446850*.2) + 5230 = 94600 BE

That's definitely not bad amount of BE.

 

Hopefully this data is either enlightening, entertaining or helpful to any of you, and don't be shy to correct me for any mistakes or ask for further analysis of the data.

Quaterfinals are over, and if EU's week finished like it was mostly expected, NA has met one of the biggest upset of its history with TSM's elimination. We already know NA is going to have a new champion but let's see for both regions the previous achievements of their contenders and see the impact of their eventual final win.

  • EU LCS

  • G2 Esports

The actual Kings of Europe are the 2nd most titled European team. They have won the EU LCS 4 times in a row and are contending for a fifth. If they win, it would be their 3rd MSI in a row. Perkz and Trick are the only ones to have known all G2's titles.

Wunder

The toplaner has been in playoffs three times before with Splyce, reaching the finals once where he lost to G2 esports. The two others were quaterfinals defeats. That makes him a semi-finalist for the second time and a potential new european champion.

Jankos

The first blood king is very used to Playoffs, it's indeed the 8th time he's playing them since his first in Spring 2014 (which means he has missed them 3 times only). It's the 6th time he has reached semifinals, but he never managed to go further than this stage, which means he would be a new champion too.

Perkz

Perkz is the only player left that has been with G2 since their first title. 4 times european champion in a row, he is tied with Trick as the second most titled european player behind Yellowstar with his 5 lcs titles. Everytime he played playoffs, he went on to win it all.

Hjarnan

This is the 4th time the Swedish ad goes to playoffs; and the 3rd time he goes to semi-finals. Like Jankos, he's never been further than this stage.

Wadid

Third European split for the Korean, and the first time he goes to playoffs after 2 unsuccesfull splits with Roccat in 2017.

  • Splyce

The org has already went to finals once and its the 4th time they have been in playoffs, in 4 consecutive splits. 3 splits ended up by a quaterfinals loss, so they are already beating that fact.

Odoamne

The romanian is playing in his 7th consecutive playoff, having done 6 with H2k before joining Splyce. Story repeats itself for ex H2k players, since it's the 6th time he's playing in semi-finals, but he never went further than that. No player has been titled in this team.

Xerxe

The romanian jungler has started his european career in 2017, played 3 splits, and went to playoffs everytime. He however already seen the finals in Spring 2017 with UOL.

Nisqy

First EU LCS split for the young belgian, and first semis.

Kobbe

Kobbe stats are relatable to Splyce overall stats, because it's the only team where he has had a stable starter spot and he was there since the team's first EU LCS split; so 4th consecutive playoffs and one final reached in Summer 2016.

KaSing

The best support of all time is playing his 5th playoffs, the first one being with Supa Hot Crew in Summer 2014. It's the third time he goes to semi-finals, he never went further

  • Fnatic

Despite G2's domination, Fnatic still stands as the old Kings of Europe, with its 5 LCS titles, the most titled European team. However, they haven't won a single regional title without their french captain YellowStar. They're the only other team that G2 to have made MSI, in the first edition of it in 2015.

sOAZ

The veteran is almost uncatchable in terms of achievements. He is playing his 9th playoffs, having missed only 2 of them. He played finals 6 times, winning 3 of them. When he goes to playoffs, he always at least goes to semifinals.

Broxah

It's the third time Broxah goes to playoffs, third in a row. He always made it to semis at least, but so far he also always loses in semis.

Caps

Exactly the same than Broxah.

Rekkles

The European Superstar has won the EU LCS twice with Fnatic, has reached the finals 3 times in 7 playoffs played. The only time he missed playoffs was after he joined Alliance/Elements in Spring 2015.

Hylissang

The ex-Unicorn has started in Spring 2015 and has never missed playoffs, which means its his 7th playoffs in a row. He reached the finals twice with UOL, but hasn't yet won the title.

  • Team Vitality

Despite having formed a superstar team at their start in Spring 2016, Vitality his playing its 2nd playoffs only. Their previous one was a quaterfinals loss. Only Cabochard was already there at the time, and now they have gone further than ever.

Cabochard

The french guy is playing his 3rd playoffs, after one played with Gambit in Spring 2015 and another with Vitality in Spring 2016. It's the first time he reaches the semi finals.

Gilius

It's the first time ever Gilius is reaching playoffs as a starting jungler.

Jiizuké

First split and first semis in playoffs for the Italian midlaner

Minitroupax

First split and first semis in playoffs again, for the Portuguese AD

Jactroll

Likewise, Jactroll is playing his first EU LCS split, and first semis in playoffs

  • NA LCS

  • Echo Fox

Its the first time Rick Fox's team has made it to playoffs, and their 2nd place gave them a semi-finals spot.

Huni

We can't find a more versatile player than Huni, he has won in Korea, in Europe... But not in America yet. Its his third split, third semi finals, but be wary, he never got past this stage yet. Will he get better than 3rd place at last?

Dardoch

It's the third time Dardoch gets in playoffs, after 2 qualifications with Team Liquid in 2016. He has reached the semis for the second time, but haven't yet made finals.

Fenix

Fifth playoffs for Fenix, all 4 previous ones were with Team Liquid. It's the fourth time he gets to semis, but he never got past that stage yet.

Altec

Fifth playoffs also for Altec. He his playing semis for the third time, and hasn't been to finals either.

Adrian

The support is his team's most experienced NA player because he reached the playoffs 6 times, with 4 different teams (Echo Fox, Dignitas, Impulse and Immortals). He always went to the semis... Where he always lost so far.

  • Team Liquid

I'm going to merge Curse and Liquid for the stats. In 11 NA LCS splits, Liquid/Curse has always been there, and has reached playoffs 9 times, only missing both 2017 splits. They, although, never went further than semi finals (despite 7 played) and never got a better spot than 3rd.

Impact

The 2013 world champions has played 7 splits in NA, and has always made playoffs, with the 4 teams he's had. He reached the finals twice, but lost both to TSM. He will play his 5th semis in NA.

Xmithie

Xmithie also played 7 splits in NA and got qualified to playoffs every time. He has reached the finals 3 times already and has won the champion twice, both with CLG in 2015 and 2016. He already went to MSI this year.

Pobelter

The Evil Genius has made it to playoffs for the fifth time with 3 different teams. He went all the way to the finals twice, winning only in Summer 2015 with CLG.

Doublelift

The superstar AD Carry from NA has been in playoffs for every of the 10 splits he played (ruined by his spring 2017 split where he decided to take a break, and where he missed his only NA LCS playoff so far). He has won the title 3 times (for 4 finals played), once with CLG and twice with TSM, which makes him the most experienced player left in the competition.

Olleh

Third split for Olleh and 2nd participation in playoffs. His only other participation was a final lost to TSM last split.

  • 100 Thieves

The team is one of the 4 teams to have been created recently and participing in NA LCS for the first time, which didn't avoid them to end up first in the regular season.

Ssumday

Third split in NA for the Korean, and third participation in playoffs. He has been to the semis only once before, and he finished 4th.

Meteos

The american veteran is playing his 7th playoffs with a 3rd different team. He won hte title in his first split in Summer 2013 with C9, winning it a second time in a row in Spring 2014 but then lost 3 other finals to keep his titles to 2. Of all the players left in the race, he's the one that has been to the finals the most.

Ryu

The Korean veteran is playing his 2nd playoffs in NA in 3 splits played, last time he was kicked out in semis 3-0 by Cloud9.

Cody Sun

Cody is playing his 3rd split, 2nd playoffs in a row. Last split he went all the way to finals but lost 3-1 to TSM for Summer title.

Aphromoo

The veteran support is playing his 10th playoffs -same number as Doublelift - only missing out 2013 Summer where CLG were playing Chauster. He won CLG's 2 titles in 2015 and 2016, making MSI with Xmithie. It's the first playoffs he's playing as a non CLG player.

  • Clutch Gaming

Clutch is the other team with 100 thieves to still be at this state of the competition despite playing its first split.

Solo

First entire split played for Solo, and first playoffs, which makes his Quarterfinals win against TSM even more impressive.

Lira

Third split played for the Korean and second playoffs in a row, last split he was kicked out in quarterfinals, so this is the further he's ever been.

Febiven

First split in NA for the Dutch, Febiven has already won 2 european titles with Fnatic, he is the most used to the playoffs in his team.

Apollo

Fourth playoffs played by Apollo, with 3 different teams. He went twice to semis with Impulse but never managed to reach finals yet.

Hakuho

Third playoffs played from the laser precision Thresh, it's the first time he is reaching semi finals.

Gosh I had A LOT of time to lose but i liked it. What do you think about all of that?

I know a couple of them are on there, but it would be awesome if every single one is on Spotify. I doubt I'm the only one who listens to these masterpieces often, so wouldn't it be great to be able to mix them into your playlists? I wonder why Riot hasn't done this yet, I don't see them losing money doing it or something.

Feels like Apollo is the forgotten one in all the hype from CG's win. I crtl-f'd him in the match thread and there's legit nothing.

He had a KDA of 16-1-26 and put out the highest damage percentage on his team by a good margin in all 4 games. This guy is insanely consistent, is never a liability for the team, always comes out of lane even/ahead, and has often been the primary carry during the regular split.

I feel he plays so safe and consistent that people don't even notice him, like hakuhos making crazy hooks and febis flashing in, solo does big engages etc.. and apollo is always just in the perfect spot to follow up, makes it look so casual. You don't notice the guy quietly autoing away on cait or kog from the backline if they never do anything flashy, but it's vital to their success.

Anyways I realize this reads like a copypasta but just wanted to give some credit to my boy Apollo Price.

Kaisas Gameplay feels really fluid except for the following case. Jhin stays at max range and attacks immediately when you give an attack command while he reloads. As Kaisa you run towards the target and your autoattack commands are not recognized while she is disarmed.

I think it would be better if Kaisa worked like Jhin in this regard. Thoughts?

Ceecee was Braum's original concept, but was scrapped partly because it didn't fit what you'd expect from a tank (bulky silhouette), and partly because most support champions were female and that's kinda boring after a while. No, Taric doesn't count.
