On 1st April, if you die from a minion, they should be able to flash a lvl mastery or a random emote, to further the pain of dying to a minion.

Of course this is inspired by the new April fool skins and relevant Video where the minion flashed its mastery. I was just thinking it would be hilarious when that yasuo jungle dies to krugs again we just see a de'pengu pop up and rub it in more.

I was merely thinking that the minions taunting us would be another funny little prank while we play on April fools :D.

Can't wait to try out the new skins too!

If Liquid is Jhin, here's what champion some of the other teams are

Everyone memes Jhin and Liquid due to the number 4, but what about the other 9 NA teams? What champ represents them? Here's what I came up with:

Echo Fox- Zoe. Used to be really good and demolish everyone, but has sucked since 8.4 hit.

Clutch- Zed. They always kill off the guy with the most AD biggest playoff buff, then die to everyone else since they used everything on that one guy.

100T- Caitlyn. Strong early on, dropped off in mid game and everyone started wondering wtf was going on, then you started getting more items and are back to being a killing machine. It helps when people fall for the trap of this team being washed up vets.

TSM- Vayne. Even though they weren't too great early on, we all knew to be afraid of them as the season got later on. They were killing off almost everyone, but after a couple of cases of Vaynespotting, they ended up losing. Doesn't help when you're 0/6/1 at 29 mins.

Cloud 9- Pantheon. Did great most of the season, but as it got later they start losing a lot more. Finally did a Grand Fall right out of top 2, straight to 5th place.

Flyquest- Orianna. A pretty bland champion that's been around for a while, this Orianna was one of those that does nothing but focuses on getting those 5 man shockwaves. Finally at the end of the season, they got an ult to bring 4 opponents right on top of each other.

Optic- Tahm Kench. The troll who no one likes to be devoured by, whether it's picking up CLG and flashing away from playoffs, or picking up Lemon and Zig to spit them out to free agency, no one wants to be devoured.

Golden Guardians- Ivern. Clearly worse than all the other champs (where's the keystone for this guy), but every so often you get one that isn't a troll and is actually a m7 Ivern who can beat the best (EF, TL)

CLG- Jinx. Yeah you did bad early, what do you expect. But as the season went on you start getting a lot of kills and were on a roll, until in the middle of a crucial fight the TK devours you and messes up your chances of winning.

Why can't Riot include a key fragment in the level up capsule?

Seems like more often than not people have a ton of unopened chests and no keys, and there are time where you don't get a key all week.

A key fragment inside the level up capsule would directly come from how much you play the game, but not break the shop because you need 3 level ups for a whole key that way.

Not sure if this was suggested or not yet.

EDIT: Woke up to this. Wanted to clarify I'm not really complaining, it was just a thought. Free stuff is cool no matter what.

It's that time again for Risen eSports! We are especially excited to announce season 4, because we just passed our birthday! After one whole year of organizing events, we are still at it; and have some great changes for season 4, including a new format and some adjustments to our current leagues.

Wait... what is Risen eSports, you say? EGAD, I'm appalled that you have never heard of us! For you uneducated plebs (aka 99.99% of you), I'll go ahead and explain a little about us and what we do :D.

Risen eSports is a small business/organization that aims to bring the competitive side of League of Legends to all skill levels. We have several leagues (which are themselves basically mini versions of the LCS!):

All times communicated in EST (east coast USA) time zone.*

Rampage League

For players in the [Bronze 5, Silver 2] skill bracket.

  • League Size: 24 teams
  • Maximum premade size: 3 players.
  • Season length: 13 weeks
  • One series (Best of 3) per week.
  • Start date: Friday, May 11th 2018
  • ENTRY IS 100% FREE
  • Prizes are TBD

Sign up solo, or with up to 2 of your friends! We will place you onto teams with other players that have signed up, with massive care taken for them to be as fair and balanced as possible. As I mentioned above - we have been doing this for over a year now, so we have gotten pretty good at balancing teams and weeding out any smurfs that might be trying to sneak in.

Rampage League games are always played on Fridays @7pm Est.

Dominate League

For players in the [Gold 5, Platinum 2] skill bracket.

  • League Size: 32 teams
  • Maximum premade size: 3 players.
  • Season length: 13 weeks
  • One series (Best of 3) per week.
  • Start date: Saturday, May 12th 2018
  • ENTRY IS 100% FREE
  • Prizes are TBD

  • Play in tournament date: Sunday, April 29th 2018
  • Play in tournament entry fee: $20 per team.
  • Regular season start date: Sunday, May 13th
  • Prizing: Scales based on number of teams.

Only premade team signups will be accepted for this League. Our goal for Champions League is to provide an event for the top tier players of League of Legends - for those of you that are looking into a serious career playing League of Legends, Champions League would be a great way to gain competitive experience and exposure.

Any amount of team sign ups will be accepted - however, the League can only hold 12 teams. This means that prior to the regular season, a play in tournament will be held to determine the best 12 teams that signed up.

Entry fee payment will be taken after a minimum of 24 hours. This is to ensure that teams don't make an impulse decision, back out, and then lose their $20. We will not be refunding entry fees for teams that drop out after their payment is taken

After that, just keep an eye on the Discord and look for announcements! There is a detailed schedule of team creation and other things there, so you may want to check that out.

Closing statement:

Even if you aren't interested in playing/participating in one of our events, they are all broadcasted to our Twitch Channel. Our finals for season 3 are happening in the coming week, so if you want to see what Risen eSports looks like, that's a great place to start.

In the most recent season, we were able to upload VODs of ~95% of all of our games across Rampage, Dominate, and Champions to YouTube.

This is the best way to improve at League of Legends, hands down. If you participate, you will improve. The competitive setting, the ability to review your own VODs, and the dedicated coaching system we have in place (well... currently reworking LOL) will result in vast improvements in your LoL gameplay. Testimonials from anyone that has played in the past will tell the same story.
