For some time I've been saving receipts from various instances of mistreatment, resentment and belittling related to joining parties as necro (various builds, but most are power reaper). Lately I've been getting increasingly more upset by this, and decided it's time to make an album and post it here in hopes of it being noticed, and preferably - the necro issue being resolved by ANet urgently (easier to fix than minds of people). I personally LOVE the coziness of a little village where you can build up some little houses like a tavern or something while outside the wind is howling and snow is everywhere. | Getting an item you can't use from a real-money box is frustrating Posted: 26 Mar 2018 12:35 PM PDT So, I decided to buy some keys when they were on sale, try my luck while working my way towards that Wedding outfit that I wanted. I opened 10 chests, and among other things I got 4 self-style kits. The problem is that a couple months ago, I bought the unlimited hair kit from TP. I know some might roll their eyes at this point, but I'm not loaded with gold, I was saving for a legendary and then decided I would get more use out of the hair kit (and I did). And yes, technically I can use the kits, but that is no different to deleting them, and I can't do anything else with them, exchange them or gift them to friends/guildies who could have a use for them. So, 4/10 of my chests basically had 1 item, and I got no rare roll. I don't want to be the typical doom-and-gloom forumite, but with these odds, why would I consider buying a key again? | Current state of Black Lion Chests Posted: 26 Mar 2018 09:51 AM PDT So with the introduction of the Black Lion Statuettes, these chests got a whole lot more interesting although some of the pricing on the statuettes are awful (see revised pricing) While this was a breath of fresh air, it was also accompanied by a major reward bloat caused mainly by moving items around in four tier of slots. As you can see with the current content, there are a lot of items which shouldn't be in there. Even after removing the 1-use contracts, it got filled with so many bad items and with the low chance of getting an uncommon or higher, it's even worse. Here are the items I believe should be removed from the Common Slot (And kept in the Statuette vendor if you wanna get them)
As for the 4 dye packs, try and make these go together in one box so you don't get so many dye packs, the devaluation is so big right now even with the higher chance of getting a blue dye and nobody likes getting these packs even with a high roll. As for the material bags, straight up remove the T5 bag I mean why is it even there, same with the Bag of Elona Materials. The T6 material bag is fine since we can't have all good rolls, but at least you can get some value out of this one. Uncommon slot, the main offender of bloated rewards Since the Rare weapons were moved to the Uncommon slot and the Super Rare weapons were moved to the Rare slot, the current rotation of Black Lion Weapon skins have become so cheap that getting a Black Lion Ticket isn't even good anymore but this seems hard to fix unless you go back on this change and screw up Super Rare (even though I'm PRETTY confident that the weapons there had a higher drop-chance than the contracts even if they were in the same slot). My suggestion here is to make ONE slot where you get an item that gives you, for example, a random Bloodstone Weapon since that's the current BL weapon in the Uncommon slot. This way you won't be unlucky and get 10x Bloodstone Weapons and zero of the unique rewards like the Mini Branded Mounts Pack or the Fire-Breathing Bow and Quiver Package which is mainly what people want from these chests. Watch this video of a guy opening 185 keys and you see how shit it is right now Mini Pack after 96 keys! and Bow and Quiver Pack after....165 keys!. Also this guy getting the worst luck ever (Volume Warning). Rare slot Here the current rotation of weapons should get the same treatment as the Uncommon version, it's hard enough to even roll a rare slot nowadays. Super rare This is fine, especially with no weapon skin bloat anymore although I probably will never hit this slot now. [link] [comments]  | ||

More info The Sandswept Isles achievement for the backpack is a 3 tier collection. However due to Tier 2 being timegated we will only do Tier 1 and 2 and allow everyone to complete the timegated part before we resume the run next week. | Chronomancer: how to keep all boons on my team for 100% Posted: 26 Mar 2018 04:17 AM PDT Aloha, I have seen guides such as https://discretize.eu/builds/mesmer/boon-chronomancer , but unfortunately I still do not understand how to keep all of my buffs on my party for 100% time. As far as I understand Alacrity for example has base duration of 2s from Signet of Inspiration. That can be increased to 4s by having boon duration gear (which I have). But still I can only give my party 4s of Alacrity every time Singet's up (or twice if I count Continuum Split in), then another time, when I cast Phantasm (due to Inspiration traitline) - but doesn't that also have 30s cooldown? Can someone explain this to me step by step? I am lost but I'd like to improve and to improve I need to understand. I'd like to start riding, but I decided to learn by doing fractals first and I can't keep up boons on my party for 100% time so I must be doing it very wrong. [link] [comments]  | ||

There were nerfs, but it wasn't anything terrible. Until the last ones. The delay on Shade skills feels really bad, like I'm lagging all the time. I don't need my barrier in a moment, I need it immediately ("Barrier, now!" has become a painfully ironic quote). What really made the class for me was honestly something small: the 5 second on demand condition convert. It felt so nice to have that access, but on the same day it was given a built in delay it was also nerfed by 50%. The class wasn't anything amazing before, I know, but now it doesn't even feel good to play, and I don't like it. ∆PvE∆ [link] [comments]  | ||
