I have been restarting for over 3 hours now... trying to get a Roraima river start. Is that too much to ask??? Need emotional support, I won't give up.

Yeah, I don't have a big social life.

Edit: Thank you r/civ!!!

What’s your favorite map type/size to play on and why?

Do you choose differently based on the leader you choose?

Does anyone think that global warming and natural disasters would be cool in civ?

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 06:40 AM PDT

In the global warming issues the icebergs will melt and sea levels would rise gradually. The natural disasters would be volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, a meteor, and hurricanes. There could be more of course, but I think this would add a lot to the game.

Please tell me there is a mod that makes granaries appear like, 10x smaller in the city. Because seeing a quarter of my city centre filled with a fucking granary in the modern era is ridiculous.

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 05:49 PM PDT

Even better: Firaxis could make granaries smaller in a patch? It's actually gotten to the point where I actively try not to build granaries because they look so ridiculously huge and out of place.

Just had minor surgery, time to binge play some Civ 6!

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 01:59 PM PDT

I had minor surgery (I'd rather not be too specific, I think you can guess the area) and I can't move around a lot for a few days. Perfect time to play some Civ 6! Any suggestions who I should play as?

The opposite of a legendary start.

Is there anything roughly equivalent to CQUI that's compatible with Rise and Fall yet? I tend to lose interest late game because managing a lot of cities gets tedious.

Civ 6 Deity Strategy Help

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 07:22 PM PDT

I have over 100 hours on Civ 6, and the only win I've managed to secure was a culture victory on the prince difficulty. I've been trying to beat the higher difficulties, including deity. In short, I get wrecked. I've looked up a few guide on how to beat deity, however, I've lost 5 games so far. Every time I get power rushed by the strong war nations and lose half my cities and end up too far behind to win. I'd love to receive some well needed knowledge on how to beat the stronger difficulties. Thanks for your time!

First Civ 6 Victory!

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 03:15 PM PDT

Just excited and want to share!

I played civ 4 long time ago but never finished a game. Picked up civ 6 two days ago and finished my first game I started as Rome

Only prince difficulty but figured it was a good starting block. Took until like turn 455 since I didn't know how I wanted to win. Ended up with domination and was 2 turns away from space race

Learned a few things and I think my next go will be a tall game with a max 5 maybe 6 cities.

Any suggestions on best tall civ?

[Civ 6] Can't build aqueduct?

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 06:37 PM PDT

For some reason I'm unable to build an aqueduct to a river that's 1 tile away from my city center. My city would be on one side of the aqueduct and the river would be on the other, but I'm being told that there's no suitable location for the building?
