I am curious as to why Trion continues to allow the PTS to roll without wiping it, currently (as with every other patch for time immemorial) it's practically impossible to test because of people who "main pts".

These are people who exploited hundreds of alt accounts to get mythic buffs, they are sitting in 10k+ sets of armor with mythic/eternal weapons and all they do is haze Diamond Shores. You can go somewhere else, they will just follow you there and bring a raid of 10k+ gearscore characters just to kill all the people who are sub-5k and be toxic / call everyone bad.

When 3.5 rolled out we had a lot of pvp with guilds on a relatively equal level, everyone was in ~celestial/divine erenor and only a few people went beyond that. The PTS mains weren't so stacked because good gear was finally given to the new players on PTS, fast forward months later and these guys have farmed thousands of erenor pieces via mail just to be toxic for maybe 2-3 days every six months. Most of these people have been "maining pts" for over ~2 years.

We come to the server to test as a group, mess around in DS and experience some of the new adjustments and content. We don't come here to be one shot by FULL RAID BUFFED (lol) 13k mages with mythic buff, hitting for 8k firebolts.

Deciding on going Primeval or Ebonsong.

Hello! I'm a returning player, starting on the fresh start server on April 5th. I use to main a Primeval, and I had a lot of fun while playing it. I have a couple questions which I will list below. I appreciate any help/information you guys can give me!

  • Will Primeval still be viable/good in 4.5? (From what we know right now.)

  • I hear people going over to Ebonsong, should I switch to it too?

  • If Ebonsong is my best choice, how would I go about gearing up (When it comes to armor/weapons/stats?)(is it similar to primeval?)

  • If Ebonsong is my best choice, are there any talent builds I can go off of (or maybe share your own?)

I apologize if this is vague, If you need to know more before you can help me feel free to ask. Thanks!

I used to play ArcheAge on fs before but i never saw those classes Assasin and Necro in action, those classes are so rare, maybe someone of u played one of them and can give me some advice for new fs and ofc if its worth to play it.

Is farming still viable for money?

Is still viable to earn money by farming? Some people say trade with cargo packs is not worth enough. So I dont know if it still worth to rush gazebo etc?

I don't understand the logic behind the trading system changes, anyone?

From what I have read and seen in game, the new trading system changes make no sense to me. Basically how the system works now, 1. First you have to bring 3 different types of packs to the trader on your continent. This gives you shit rewards as the crafting cost of the packs is going to be huge and the profit low.

  1. Then to get the "cargo" to transport overseas, you have to immediately buy the packs from the trader or someone else will. Then, you can run these "cargo" packs over to the other continent, and turn them in for minimal profit as well.

  2. Now, finally, is the part where you can make lots of profit, but taking these overseas cargo packs that were deposited in the trader, and delivering them to a trader on the same continent to get charcoal.

It just makes no sense to me, why run any packs unless you have alts on the other continent ready to make packs as soon as you land there? It also seems all of the profit is on the 3rd step, which is safe zone pack running.. I just understand why they changed the trade pack system to this convoluted thing that basically requires people to have alts on both continents to make good money.

Where to find up to date info on mage style classes

I am starting back up after not playing for ages and only playing a bit at launch NA. The skill/class system can be a bit over whelming and a lot of resources I can find are unclear if they are up to date. Can someone point me to a good resource that breaks down various pros and cons of the magic based classes? I know I will want Sorcery at the very least but not sure what else I might really want to use.

Launching PTS and nothing happens !?!?

When i press play on the PTS it does nothing... The Europa And North America Servers work fine.
Anyone knows why this is happening ?

Inquisitor here and was thinking of about coming back to check things out.

By the sounds of it battle and shadow won't work the same. As a inquisitor I relied on the stuns of them skills to hold my own in group play since this class has no CC skills.

Sounds like I won't be able to enjoy the only class I like to play so what are my options now for a melee healing hybrid? Any ideas?
