Completing all the Story Progress Chapters of a zone should give you a hefty XP Bonus or Boost. This lets you speed up levelling a bit while still compelling you to play through the zones.

Just a thought. I love the new World Scaling system and it's great to go back and truly re-visit some of these old zones. But at the end of the day, I would rather experience 10 old zones per character while levelling two alts, than experience 20 old zones per character while levelling a single alt.

(Edit) Here are a few examples of how it could be done:

  • Give a buff for completing a zone, which grants an XP bonus. Let's say you complete the Jade Forest in Pandaria. Perhaps the buff reads a bit like an Achievement; "Hero of a Jaded People - You gain 100% Bonus Experience while questing in Pandaria (lasts 2 hours or until replaced)".
  • Give a level-up token for completing a zone, that sits in your inventory and grants a level when used. "Pandaren Lore Idol. Consumable. Grants a level. Only usable in Pandaria. Usable up to level 89."
  • Give a simple boost when the zone is completed, like a Dungeon XP Bonus.

Roads!

Why not make roads increase player run/mount speed? It would give more incentive to use them instead of running in a straight line.

Why are so many people against playing the "bad guys"?

Posted: 17 Feb 2018 08:21 AM PST

I've always been interested in reading people's opinions on the morality of the Horde vs. Alliance, but never really voiced mine. One thing I've noticed, is most discussions involve trying to justify either the Horde or Alliance's actions as being good, or at the very least, not evil.

It just seems to me that no one likes the idea of the Horde being the bad guys. This being a role-playing game at heart, I feel the option to be a bad guy should be at least possible. Now, yes I know there a lot of quests in the game that force you into morally questionable circumstances or the fact that you can play "evil" classes, like warlock or death knight.

Fact is, even if you head canon being evil/neutral or a lock or dk, the main story forces you into a hero role, whose actions ultimately lead to the greater good, more or less.

Why can't we have the option of being evil, selfish or even dishonorable?

Favorites wow addons

Posted: 17 Feb 2018 08:59 AM PST

Hello reddit wow!

I was thinking to share my favorite addons, maybe some of those you can check it out later. =)

Top 10:

1- SexyMap! Make your minimap ultra sexy. xD

2- EasyLeave! A addon to leave instances in a more "automatic" way, a pop up message appears when your dungeon/raid (LF) is complete, good for leveling.

3- JamryUI! Dark Blizzard UI.

4- Immersion! A replacement for the dated quest & gossip frames.

5- HideonCombat! This addon hide some parts of the interface for a cleaner UI when in a battle(combat).

6- bdcore! Better fonts, and configurations for wow.

7- EasyConfirm! Shift + F and you can confirm almost every popup confirmation dialog (for the lazy people like me).

8- PhotoRobot! Displays important PvP buffs/debuffs with timers on your Unit Frame Portraits

9- HHTD! "In World of Warcraft healers have to die".

10- SlashHelp! SlashHelp enables the user to search all registered emotes, chat types, and slash commands as they type.

You can show me (and to the others) some not so common addons in comments. Cya.
