So, I started in a prefab cottage. I set up shop there while I slowly built my base. I had three forges, workbench, chem lab and mixer easily before the 21 day horde. I had a horde bunker, but was turning into a full base.

So I moved my forges over, since I found out you can pick them up... And I lost everything that I had smelted in them.

I also lost a ton of concrete mix that was just in normal storage boxes.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry, just needed to vent. I was doing so well...

New server?

Would anyone be up for multiplayer with me? I play quite often but single player gets boring and I can't get a reply on servers I go on. I play on PC/Steam and plan to go until we either die too many times or get bored again haha. We could even do a Reddit server? Just an idea.

Next to me character and clothes and armor and what not, there is what looks like a little hammer, a knife, fire, radiation, temp and an umbrella. What is the hammer and the knife?

New vanilla server with hud mods

Hey everyone. Have a small core group I play with and I just started my own server. Basic hud mods on the server. I'm on eastern time and 2 others on central. Server holds 16. Anyone want to start fresh with us? Difficulty is 4. Random gen map, wasteland at 0,0

Base idea, has anyone tried....

I have been watching a chap on youtube (Capp00) doing lots of tests of pathfinding and other fun things, and also Grand Spartan playing with different base designs. This gave me an idea:

I was thinking has anyone triedhaving a small drop on the surface, say 5x5, but maybe 10 blocks down, not enough to kill anything. Then at the bottom have a corridoor that is on both sides just 50 pillars you can shoot and loot through, and have just a long corridoor of that leading to a door or something else and with spikes along the bottom?

Would this kind of setup work, having them all bunched up in one place for easier kills? What would make them walk down the corridoor? Forges? A door?

Has anyone tried something similar?

I thought it was the level. But I have a tool that are orange and they are lower than some tools and others that are orange and higher than some tools
