You can skip the bloodmoon in BoTW Posted: 15 Feb 2018 09:09 AM PST If you fast travel to shrines from 11:55 till midnight, you will skip the bloodmoon. I don't suggest this until you feel like messing around in the game, or if you're just bored. It tricks the game into thinking the bloodmoon happened, but nothing will be reset. The enemies will still be dead. Any other harmless or easy to do glitches y'all know of? [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 07:45 AM PST I always read about Legend of Zelda series as some awesome series of games that everyone should play. I never had any Nintendo games and they wasn't popular in Eastern Europe where I come from. Now it came time to catch up and play some games. Do you recommend any title to start with? Do you recommend any order of playing games if I want to play most/all of them? [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 08:53 AM PST Botw is one of the best game experiences I've had. I enjoy just running around and exploring the map but I've beaten Calamity and done the majority of the shrines. Is the DLC expansion pack a good addition to the experience or just more of a couple of extra weapons and armour? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

What order should I play the Zelda games? Posted: 15 Feb 2018 12:53 AM PST I know this probably been asked before, but I'd like some extra/updated opinions. I have zelda 1, a link to the past and oot. But plan on buying other games if needed. [link] [comments]

Does anyone know this fanfic well enough to remind me it's name/author? Posted: 15 Feb 2018 08:10 AM PST So with Valentine's Day coming (and just now gone) I felt the urge to read this Zelda fanfic from 2006-12-ish. However, I can't remember for the life of me what it's called or even who wrote it. I've already read it more than once, I know the entire plot but I'm blanking on the important part, the name/author. So if anyone remembers this, can you point me in the direction on how to find it again please? I read it on fanfiction.net and it was a post-TP LinkxZelda story (Yes Midna is bae but that's what Silent Kingdom was for, was reading that around the same time). It was about 13 chapters and had a 'regular' word/phrase for the title, not Legend of Zelda or anything, (Thus I can't remember). Basic premise: Link doesn't find himself a suitable husband for Zelda so after seeing the Post-Ganondorf reconstruction going well, he leaves Hyrule. He returns several years later and keeps head butting with Zelda. Seeing them going no where, the lovers' best friends work in secret to give them the right shoves, using the current festival and gala as opportunities for their plan. Longer summary: After Ganondorf is defeated and Midna returns to Twilight Realm, Link stays around Hyrule Castle area to help with reconstruction, earning more of the respect of the people and gets to know Zelda more personally than just as the hero. However, Link doesn't feel like he's good enough to marry Zelda being just a ranch boy, so he leaves Hyrule in hopes to get enough riches worth enough to earn the right to propose. Link travels for 6 years away from Hyrule. He spends 2 nights a year completely wasted; the night his closest friend 'died' (Midna left) and 6 months later when he ran away from the woman he loved (Zelda). During his travels, Link meets traveling nobleman or something (Link makes fun of his frilly talking) who becomes his best friend convinces him to finally return home. During this time, Zelda has been a successful ruler. She has grown to have the reputation of being a strong but fair ruler. She loves her people but gives fair punishment. Her inefficient council advisers annoy her splendidly (hour long meetings discussing napkins). She also has furthered her training from Link, a princess who cannot defend herself certainly cannot defend her country. Thus, she made a challenge that any suitor must defeat her in 4 tests of combat to be able to get her hand in marriage. (No one's been able to do it yet; seems like the tests were made for the only man who possibly can i.e. Link). Her best friends are her assistant Tetra and hand maiden Malon. So Link returns to Hyrule while there's this festival approaching. There's a bunch of sword/archery contests and the last night finishes with a gala. While back in town, Link continuously pisses off Zelda, they're egos are both kind of large and stuff happens. Lots of arguing. Some bruising. So the friends meet in secret and work together to set the main two up. It makes some headway but a major misunderstanding happens and a heartbroken Zelda leaves to vacation at Lake Hylia (with her bodyguard Sheik). Link follows to apologize and after a b!tch slap and official suitor's challenge, they get married. Epilogue: they have a daughter named Midna. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 09:30 AM PST Given BotW's success, I'm sure Nintendo may continue to develop Zelda games in a similar manner. However, as you should know by now, you're given a majority of items at the beginning of the game given in the form of the Sheika slate. Not only this, you are granted the ability to pick up weapons which have a durability rate now. Given this information, how do you prefer this model of items compared to the previous format, where items were given out upon completing dungeon quests? To be honest, I actually prefer the previous model, where it feels rewarding to have progression through a dungeon, and then to gain an item that will continue to come into play, instead of getting (most of) them off the bat, as well as the lack of the durability function. What is your take on this? [link] [comments]
