Concept: Trial of the Hero. You fight every iteration of Link as a test of strength. Posted: 31 Jan 2018 02:22 AM PST Probably ends with either hero of time w/ fierce deity or alttp/albw Link with his full arsenal just bc of their power levels being so high. I, personally, think it would be dope as hell. TP link but he's a massive shadow wolf beast, tmc link and he summons an elemental clone army, etc. Thoughts? [link] [comments]

[BotW] What did you miss the most in Breath of the Wild? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 11:10 PM PST For me, it was the lack of any musical instrument for link to play. In almost every game of the series, Link has some instrument to make music. An Ocarina, a harp, a magic conductor's baton, etc. I would have loved something like Kass' accordion for Link to play! Especially given the prevalence of music in the story. So many sidequests and main story flashbacks are conveyed through songs, it's a shame there's no way for Link to join in. Plus, I just like the idea of Link being musically talented. Gives a little flavor to his personality. Since in BotW we see the most expressive and personality-rich Link yet, I was gutted he doesn't get to play an instrument. What did you miss in Breath of the Wild? It can be a classic Zelda element or something new entirely you wish was in the game. [link] [comments]
I suggest a weekly "Shrine Discussion" thread. Posted: 31 Jan 2018 04:16 AM PST This could include the 120 included in the base game and DLC shrines. I feel that this is a good time as people who bought the game on launch have concluded at least one playthrough and players who got the game for Christmas are either completing their first run or are frantic for solutions. Even the quests that lead up to a simple blessing can be interesting. Please hear me out. There are guides that spell it out all over the Internet, but the real fun of solving these shrine puzzles is the joy of finding your own solution without help. To that end, I for one would like to see how others have figured them out on their own and try that angle in the future. BOTW's replay value is obvious. But I can't help but think how fun this sub would be if we shared how we solved these puzzles independently. [link] [comments]

| Posted: 31 Jan 2018 09:30 AM PST Who else would like to see a older iteration of link. To elaborate more I'm meaning that instead starting off as a young link and learning skills and obtaining equipment to essentially become the legendary warrior what if the game starts off as a much older link that is well past his prime going off on a one last hoorah adventure. I been thinking heavily on this concept and I'm incredibly interested but I can't find out much about it other than the gramps character that let's you challenge shadow links in a link between world's. | How do I download Zelda Classic these days? Posted: 31 Jan 2018 09:00 AM PST The top hits on Google seem to lead to unsecure websites with malware warnings. Where do I download this, exactly? And if I do find a good source, does anyone have a favorite quest I should try out, preferably one close to the Game Boy games? Thanks [link] [comments] |

Is Skyward Sword important and worth playing before Ocarina of Time? Posted: 31 Jan 2018 06:39 AM PST Hi Zelda fans, I've just finished my first Zelda game ever - Wind Waker HD and it was fantastic, but I have a lot of questions about lore, characters and history of Hyrule. It kinda feels like Star Wars ep. 4-6, amazing advanture, but you just want to know what happened before, especially that Ganon gives Darth Vader's vibe, he seems to be more than a typcal bad mage who wants to rule the world. As far as I know Ocarina of Time is the most important game in the timeline, but due to this image SS seems like the origin of the fight between Ganon and Link. So, is playing Skyward Sword before OoT a good idea? This game has kinda mixed reviews and I'm not sure how important is it for the lore. There are also The Minish Cap and Four Swords and I think I will just skip them, but you can give me your opinion about those 2. [link] [comments]
May have discovered a Star Fragment trick, sorry if I am a slowpoke. Posted: 30 Jan 2018 06:53 PM PST So I was just farming my way for dragon horns when I saw a shooting star. I excitedly paused my game, but saw that it was already 3:50 AM and that there was no way I was going to get there before dawn hit and it despawned. A bit bummed, I threw some wood on the ground and made a fire, ready to head to the next evening and continue my dragon farming. Once I woke up from my slumber the next evening, I looked out in the distance only to see that the glare from the star fragment was still visible. Working my way to the spot, I was a able to recover the item and continue on with my exploring. Based on this, it appears that if you rest before dawn until the following night at 9PM then the pieces remain- providing players an escape when it appears that they aren't able to grab a star before morning hits. Next time I see one, I'm going to test my theory again. Anybody else out there able to verify, or is this a known phenomenon and I'm late to the party? TLDNR: Before dawn hit I rested by the campfire until the next night and got more time to collect the star fragment. [link] [comments]
