We will be deploying Patch #2 for the Test Server today from 11am - 11:20am EST.

There was a mix up regarding bug fixes that were being worked on/fixed with Patch 1 on February 21st. As a result, some bugs that were not fixed quite yet were on the Patch Notes for Patch 1.

Patch 2 Notes

Outbreak

We are increasing the difficulty of Outbreak a bit!

  • Grunt damage increased in Pandemic

    • 8 Damage to 3 Armor
    • 10 Damage to 2 Armor
    • 12 Damage to 1 Armor
  • Doc now has 2 Stim Pistol rounds instead of 3

  • Apex has 2000HP in Pandemic (Up from 1800HP)

  • When in Bloodlust, Rooter will reappear more often

Blitz

Blitz's movement speed with his shield out has been decreased even further. He will now move slightly faster than a 1 speed Operator with his shield out. His hip fire accuracy has also been reduced. The reasoning behind Blitz's buff was mostly that his pick rate was really low compared to other operators, and he was still weak at the time we first decided to push this change, even after a first buff allowing him to sprint with his shield up. As players took more time than usual to adapt to this change, we saw that his win rate had steadily increased over the course of Season 4. Blitz was still not necessarily fun to play while providing unfair advantage with his hip fire accuracy.

After playing a faster version of Blitz, we felt like it made more sense with his playstyle and expected that it would help make him a more popular choice. But the feedback we have been seeing from the TS build made it clear: his new speed made him frustrating to play against. While we do have the objective to make every operator viable and equally attractive choices, having a fun experience will always remain the highest priority.

We've decided to reduce his speed buff by more than half, these changes combined with his armor and hip fire accuracy reduction should make him easier to counter.

We'll keep a very close eye on his power level when the season releases.

Finka

We are reducing the resistance her ability provides against stun grenades.

Current parameters:

  • Length: 30%

  • Intensity: 50%

New parameters:

  • Length: 50%

  • Intensity: 100% (no effect)

Operation Chimera

Fixed - Players can vault behind pipes on the south side of 2F Yacht Sub Room.

Fixed - The defenders are unable to disarm the Defuser if a shield has fallen on it.

Fixed - Players are able to shoot straight immediately after canceling a deployable gadget before weapon is in hand.

Fixed - Character has a broken animation when walking in crouch while holding a deployable shield.

Fixed - Players' health bar is different colors when respawning.

Fixed - The last instance of the selected operators will be shown before choosing new operators for the next round.

Fixed - Tachanka's LMG has no functionality.

Fixed - IQ is missing pink/purple on her default uniform.

Fixed - Sticky gadget collision misbehaves when throwing them close to walls.

Fixed - Operators spawn in crouch stance.


Outbreak

Fixed - Lion's gadget floats during the final cut scene of resort.

Fixed - Key frames pop for the Critters in animation instances during Outbreak missions.

Fixed - Having V-Sync on will lock FPS to 30 even after quitting Outbreak.

Fixed - Full screen Outbreak Event pop-up appears at every launch.

Fixed - Ash is shown with no skin on her weapons in the Opening Sequence.

Fixed - Occasionally, the last "Clear the Remaining Enemies" objective from the Generators cannot be completed.

Fixed - Players get stuck on the first stage after killing all enemies.

Can we get a dev reply why don't these people get put into separate matchmaking?

The amount of M/KB players has blown up in this game and it's straight up ridiculous that game that promotes balanced, skill based competitive gameplay allows such unfair advantage.

PC players, I know this doesn't concern you but please upvote this as well. You know fairly well how much superior mouse is for aiming - I think major benefit for everyone is that playfield is fairly even. Please don't turn this into platform dick-waving contest, it's not what this thread is about.

Edit: To people using M/KB on console and saying "I can't afford PC", most people don't want the option removed, just seperate matchmaking for more balanced matches. Just match controller and MKB users seperately, Everyone wins.

His gun is on a tripod, right? It should be able to compensate recoil, right? It's his frickn' gun and he should know the recoil by now, right? The guy is built like a brick shit house, right? He's the Lord right? When Tachanka uses his lmg their should be "NO" recoil. The recoil should only exist when someone else uses it. If mira uses it, it should look like a 5yr old trying to control a fire house.

Just completed all 3 maps of Outbreak on Pandamic. Some tips and tricks.

Hi everybody, me and 2 friends have just completed pandemic Outbreak and honestly it is not that difficult. I am here to hopefully give you some tips and tricks to help you complete it too.

The lineup that we went with was basically this:

DOC with shotgun, impact.

SMOKE with shotgun, impact.

FINKA with spear, frag grenades.

DOC and SMOKE shotguns can one hit the normal grunts and breachers close to medium range.

For both the 'SIERRA' maps, which are escort based, you can use DOC stim pistol to heal the person that you are escorting if they happen to be low on health.

For maps that have you defending an objective, you can use SMOKE smokes to stop enemies from destroying the objective.

We used the FINKA ability to help defeat the APEX enemies, pop her ability and both DOC and SMOKE go in close range to kill the APEX as fast as possible. You need to kill the APEX as fast as possible due to them enhancing the abilities of other enemies.

To kill SMASHERS, shoot him constantly until he turns and charges at you,stand still for a moment until he begins to charge at a fast pace at you. At which point you would want to sidestep out of the way and have him smash into a wall or an object. Then spam your melee button behind him when the prompt comes up. You can also just keep shooting him in the back on his red spot. You can only melee him when he is stunned from running into a wall or object.

To kill ROOTERS you can listen out for them and shoot them. If you happen to get snared by the ROOTER, you can get out by shooting the ROOTER.

Kill BREACHERS when they are far away, however if they get too close do not shoot them, just run and they will explode.

On the map 'THE NEST' at the ending part you will have to defend 3 bombs. You only need one to survive. A tip for this part is to barricade all the walls near BRAVO which is on the second floor. Defend BRAVO and ALPHA, you can ignore CHARLIE as it is too far to defend. If you happen to see a BREACHER trying to breach the barricade you should run outside and kill them to make it easier.

These are some of the tips I have and if you have more questions just ask in the comments and I'll try to get back to you.
