This is an opportunity for the more experienced LoL players here to share some of your wisdom with those with less expertise. This thread will be a weekly safehaven for those "noobish" questions you may have been too scared to ask for fear of downvotes, but also can be a great place for in depth discussion if you so wish. So, don't hold back, get your game related questions ready and post away, and hopefully someone can answer them! | What if Riot added a "mute yourself" feature? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 05:16 AM PST I have a fairly high KPM (keystrokes per minute) and I am also a reformed toxic player. These two factors combined led to me typing aggressively in chat without paying much attention. I'm convinced I'm not alone with this and was wondering to myself what if Riot added a feature that would allow you to mute yourself and to unmute you would have to write a phrase like "/unmuteself" so at least you would have to put some thought into it before you can type in chat again. I might be alone with this, though I'm interested to hear your opinions on this nonetheless. Edit: So, the community has entered a very heated discussion about toxicity even beyond my initial proposal. It's great to see this many people participate in a discussion about the most important sidenote to League of Legends. It is not humanly possible for me to get back at every single one of you in a reasonable amount of time, though I want to thank everyone, constructive criticism or not, who strives to make this game the least toxic it can be.
