Introducing our biggest mistake, yet: Meme Mondays

Hey everyone,

With the drought of Halo-related content we've decided to listen to the community and begin allowing memes on /r/Halo.

This will tentatively start with Mondays only, with the possibility of expanding to more days of the week if it is well received. All other r/halo rules on the sub still apply, so please abide by those while posting your memes. Any memes that are targeted or are attacking anyone else will be removed.

Please also try to stay original with your posts, any memes that are reposted too often will be removed. Even though there is a content drought, we would like the sub to not be dominated by memes on the front page.

We will be using the AutoMod to let everyone know when the meme posting can begin. As long as the Meme Monday automoderator thread is active during a Monday, you're free to post your memes. When the thread is removed then memes after that time will be removed as well.

This is a test, and will later determine how we approach memes on this subreddit.

I played alot of halo 3 and reach and was pretty good back in the day. Didnt play much 4 but i did play some. Anyways i got 5 recently and staryed playing btb but lately ive just been getting my ass handed to me. So i made this thread. Any tips on improving your multiplayer game?

Halo 2 PC modding tool that I can't remember

Quite a few years ago I used to mod 2 on PC. Simple stuff like making weapons shoot different projectiles etc. I seem to have lost that modified copy, and can't remember the name of the tool that I used. I do remember that it was fairly simple to use (not HMT for CE simple).

I've downloaded a bunch of them, but am missing one called Mr Mohawk. Is that the one that I need? I can't find a working link anywhere.

MCC voting issue in BTB

Is anyone else repeatedly getting the same Halo 3 game and map in the BTB voting? I've gotten Team Crazy King on Standoff 4 times in a row now, and of course, people vote for it every goddamn time. It starts us with only assault rifles and a 3 second respawn timer for some reason.

This isn't happening in other playlists as far as I know.

(Back compat) Disconnected from Xbox Live

Every time I try to log onto Halo 3, 4 or Reach via back compat, the game doesn't let me sign in and the game tells me that I'm disconnected from Xbox Live even though my Xbox One is connected to the internet.

It would probably take a while to animate or model or code or whatever, but what if all the different helmets had different HUD's? For example, if you have the Mark V helmet, the HUD would look similar to the original one from CE. Mark VI might look like Halo 2 or 3. The helmet(s) from Reach would look like the Reach HUD, and every other helmet would have a fairly unique HUD, almost like the co-op campaign in Halo 5. Your visor color could also affect the color of your HUD. There could also be different perks for certain ultra-rare or legendary helmets, like the scanner helmet could have some sort of thing like Promethean Vision from Halo 4, the ARGUS helmet could have a thing where you don't exit smart link when you take damage, Locus helmet might have an extended minimap, Mark V and VI could have a flashlight, etc, etc, you get the picture. I'm open to suggestions.

My son wants to get Halo MCC, but can he only play others with MCC?

My 12 y/o son is wanting to get Halo MCC, but he wants to play with his friend whom has Halo games 1-4 separately. Can they play together or do they both have to have either MCC or 1-4 separately?? And, is this game appropriate for a 12 y/o?? Thanks in advance!

Why doesn't anyone play Halo 5 on PC

Aside from the obvious (THERES NO MATCHMAKING) why does nobody play halo 5 on the PC? I'd love to get into some custom games and just run lobbies but no one seems interested :/
