True Dota 2 - Since Pudge is in every game, how does it change your picks as a support?

Since Pudge is in every game, how does it change your picks as a support?

Pudge has a very high pick rate and there was a post on the main subreddit about picking pudge every game.

Regardless of whether you should pick pudge, what do you guys pick against pudge? What heroes do you guys pick less now that Pudge has a high likelihood of being on the enemy team?

I'm open to most roles sharing their opinions, but I'm most interested in position 5 supports.

I like playing Weaver against pudge and the idea of having heroes pudge cannot rot down early game is really nice. It's what I've gathered from my experience on this subreddit.

And I love Dark Willow and Treant, but Pudge has a really good matchup against them so I feel at a disadvantage if I pick it early. Willow's Shadow Realm gets rotted down and Treant's super slow and living armor is nullified.

For cores, I feel that it's much easier as they have more escapes, more hook blocking and dodging options. The only cores I wouldn't pick Pudge into are people that rely on Magic Immunity, but Jug and Lifestealer still do okay against pudge.

Interested in a 6k+ stack doing quals/tourns

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 11:50 AM PST

Would you guys be interested in a stream about a 6-7k team doing quals, some small tourns, and replay analysis?

Edit: the stream would normally be through the perspective of the 4 position/captain and be willing to answer any questions outside of comp games

Edit2: https://www.twitch.tv/pgviking ill be streaming soon at about 6-7 PST

Opinions on Brewmaster Lv25 talent with Aghs

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 07:54 AM PST

So I recently started playing Brew again after a long time and with his current talents, I can have 15 seconds downtime at Lv25 OR I can have 40% evasion and crit on the Fire Panda (I like buying Aghs on him).

Any opinions on which is better?

Simple idea on how to bring back a few melee midlaners.

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 03:27 PM PST

Since the removal of Poor Man's Shield a few melee heroes simply cannot contest the midlane anymore and I think a small buff to them would be really nice so we could see a higher variety of heroes and strategies.

My idea is that would be nice if 25% of the damage increase on creeps from Quelling Blade is applied to allied creeps.

7+ damage on denies could be a buff some heroes like Magnus, Ember, Monkey King needs to be viable at mid again. I do realize that some melee heroes that are already good in the midlane like Dragon Knight and Phantom Lancer would end up being more popular I think this is still a valid idea.

Any thoughts?

BF on Spectre

Posted: 08 Jan 2018 05:35 PM PST

So I have noticed a lot of battlefury first Spectre builds. What gives? Is it really so easy to get they it is better than radiance? Should I start building it? How does this affect his playstyle vs radiance?
