A Big “Thank You !” to the Modding Community Posted: 19 Jan 2018 06:57 AM PST Rimworld is a great game ... but it's even better thanks to the work of the Modding community. I'd like to express my appreciation to all of you for your efforts, be they simple cosmetic / aesthetic additions or full overhauls and major content. You folks are amazing and the game wouldn't be as much fun without you. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Jan 2018 10:26 PM PST In the course of 3 days, the following happened: 10 man raid team, who captured one of mine. A tornado. An ancient danger, it seems the tornado opened the cryo sleeps, they then fought 2 sythers, and 3 centis. These spacer motherfuckers then had the nerve to break out of the building, and wound all but one of my people. Plague. Septomber on tundra, so very cold. 3 mental breaks. Important info. I lead a small village, we keep our numbers between 3 and 6, not counting prisoners. We started tribal this time, just learned how to make beds. Just made a smooth 5k of syther blades, gold and luci. Edits: a dog just died. Hands is going in cryo, no meds and 77% plague. And now sensory mechonites, I understand that I'm playing randy on intense, but fuuuccckkk. Hands is now out of cryo, getting glitterworld meds, she's gonna live. Whisper is now being a bitch, wandering, as usual. OKAY, final edit, colony is now coked up, to deal with the emotions and stuff, everyone is healthy, everything is normal, other than a dead dog, maimed cat, and kidnapped colonist. Just found something new about the Bloodlust trait. Posted: 19 Jan 2018 03:43 PM PST Apparently people with the Bloodlust trait don't mind wearing dead man's clothes. Just found that out. That's all, just thought it was a useful bit of information. [link] [comments] |
A wandering pyromaniac has joined your colony... Posted: 19 Jan 2018 08:52 AM PST ... And the first thing he does is go on a mental break fire starting spree... This is just a low-key raid, isn't it? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Jan 2018 02:45 PM PST So me and some friends want to try out a tabletop RPG. We have decided to use the FATE system and I'm gonna run it. I thought that Rimworld would make for an awesome setting. The FATE system is more about storytelling then anything and that's what RImworld is all about. I was thinking maybe going with everyone crashed landed and them having to do the AI quest to get off the planet. Of course I would throw in all the random stuff. Like how would they all react to suddenly a man eating pack of rabbits? Or finding an ancient danger and dealing with some scythes? What do you guys think? Any suggest? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Jan 2018 11:50 PM PST I'm having a tough time getting my prisoners to eat from the Nutrient Paste Dispenser. I'm not sure what to do, the receiving end is sticking into the prison room area from my freezer where hoppers are on it. I've tried multiple things, from different types of food in the hoppers to disabling 'feed prisoner' in the individual peoples lists. They'd rather starve for some reason? [link] [comments] |

How do you stop save scumming? Posted: 19 Jan 2018 11:23 PM PST So I save scum. I try not to. But when the game kills or kidnaps one of my valuable pawns, chances are: I'm gonna save scum. I feel this ruins the experience for myself and the story the game is telling. Any tips on how to stop? [link] [comments] |
