| Posted: 24 Jan 2018 09:35 PM PST We both recently got the game and have about 60 hours in. He lives with his mom during the week and spends most of his weekend with me. Being able to spend some extra time with him during the week while playing PUBG online has been awesome. Tonight we got our first CD and it was amazing. I won't bore you with the details but we both survived(he was knocked at the end but alive) all the way to the final kill. Last year I built him a PC so we could bond over that and game together. He brings his whole rig over on Saturdays and we've taken to playing whatever we're into lately side by side in the living room. We've had more fun with PUBG than any other game, I think. Hearing him yelling with triumph after finally winning a match and yelling along with him into my mic was nothing short of glorious. We got it done right before the servers went down too. I could not ask for a better, more fun gaming experience. I encourage every parent out there to try to get into the games your kids are playing. He actually bought this game for me just so we could play together. I wish my parents had done anything similar when I was young. We might have had a much different relationship than we did. Thank you, Bluehole. You can't know what this game means to me.

| Posted: 25 Jan 2018 07:26 AM PST So here's an actual story on how PUBG robbed me of my money last week. When I started playing this game, the first thing I would do when I hit the ground and grabbed a car was run over helpless players. I would get this sense of short term satisfaction and a good laugh from it. I don't know if it was getting a kill or just the pure sound of their body smacking the front of my UAZ that felt so good. And sure enough as time went on I knew I would become one of those helpless plebs. I couldn't tell you the amount of times I have been run over by Bob Ross in buggy or a man coming from the Asia servers making sure to remind me, as an American, the score from the Vietnam war. I quickly began to rage and soon running people over for satisfaction turned into running people over for revenge. One night as I was losing sleep over coming in second place because I got run over by a man in a Dacia, I realized that I was no different from this person, and that the revenge I sought, becomes my victims revenge, and then becomes their victims revenge, starting a chain reaction of players seeking revenge. So I decided to no longer run people over but to help instead. So I began to pick up players in my car and bring them to a vehicle and I always felt good after doing this. I did this every game, and sometimes I would get hit in the back of the head by a frying pan, but I always said to myself It was the greater good. I believed that if I could do this to enough players, then they would do the same, starting a chain reaction and soon I would no longer die from being run over. So last week in RL I was driving home from work and saw a 25 to 30 white male wearing a level 1 backpack, he had his thumb out hitchhiking for a ride. Now I knew old me would of thought of running him over, but new me thought he could bring helping players in PUBG into RL. I pulled over and picked him up. I said I could take him as far as my town and drove off. No longer than five minutes in he pulled huge level 97 knife out and asks for my wallet. He took it, got out, and ran into the woods. I sat in my shit filled pants shocked from what happened, and the only thing I spit out was "it was for the greater good". Now I have no money and people continue to run me over in PUBG. | This is a problem. this is not fair #NSFW Posted: 25 Jan 2018 04:10 AM PST NSFW languagethis is ruining the game, i survived an onslaught from two squads against mine, made it over the water and got a crate (m249, level 3 vest and 240 rds 5.56) and got snapped by this absolute piece of sh!t. this should be an instant permaban. | Posted: 25 Jan 2018 06:20 AM PST Source: https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/topic/170783-pubg-extra-life-charity-marathon/ TLDR: PUGB is teaming up with Extra Life for a limited time event that ends February 2nd. They are matching donations up to $300,000. Here is some information specific to the announced PUBG Extra Life event. Generic Extra Life information can be found below. The PUBG event basically works the exact same way, but you'll have a special PUBG event donation profile that is separate from your Extra Life profile. You can sign up and donate from here. So if you play PUBG and want to raise money for your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, please sign up. I am the vice president for the Extra Life Gainesville Guild and I want to inform everyone about an excellent way they can raise money for sick kids while playing their favorite games. So what is Extra Life?Extra Life is a 24 hour gaming marathon, that this year will be held on Saturday, November 3rd. Most people are familiar with the idea of a walkathon. The idea is very similar, except instead of walking, we play games for 24 hours. This can be any type of game; video games, card games, tabletop games, and even sports like Basketball. Now, I know not everyone can do 24 straight hours, and that's fine! This is on the honor system. You can break your 24 hours up however you want. In 2016 we raised about $26.5k for the UF Health Children's Hospital, and last year we raised a almost $61,000. As a whole, Extra Life raised $10.6 million last year. How can I participate? You find people to sponsor you; friends, family, co-workers, etc. You'll have an online profile that you can share to make it easy for people to donate. Here's mine. A common amount is $24, or just $1 for every hour. It's very important to stress that 100% of the money collected goes straight to the Children's Hospital you have decided to play for. Reddit will have an Extra Life team you can join, but it looks like they have not setup their 2018 team yet. What does the money go towards?Very good question. I have had the opportunity to take a tour of the children's hospital and to play with some of the kids. In the tour, I got to see some of the places where the money will be spent.
There's more of course, but needless to say the money gets put to good use. Since every single penny goes straight to the hospital, they get to use it in the areas it is needed most. What if I just want to donate? That's fine too. You can donate to my hospital here or you can make a general donation to Extra Life. You have the option to hide your name, the amount you donate, or both so you can remain anonymous if you choose. How else can I help?We need people that are willing to not only play games, but to spread the word about Extra Life. Look on the Extra Life community forums to find the closest guild to you. There is a filter on the right that lets you narrow the forums down to a specific location. You can also join the official Extra Life discord server to chat with Extra Lifers all over the world. What else should I know? Here are a few things that didn't really fit into the sections above
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. I'm sure I have missed something. If you are still reading this and this is something that interests you and you feel passionate about and want to help recruit gamers, please please let me know and I will make sure to try and get you connected with other Extra Lifers in your area. We are always looking for more people to help recruit because statistically speaking, each person that signs up means $100 for the hospital. [link] [comments] | ||

| Don’t want to sound racist, but... Posted: 25 Jan 2018 09:50 AM PST I'm tired of all the cheating going on in the NA servers and it always happens by an Asian sounding gamer tag. It's just really upsetting because I've had to report so many for actually snapping to target and having a high movement speed. I'm almost tired of playing the game because of this problem. I've won on solo seven times, but can't even win once now that the cheating rush from Asian sounding names has started. [link] [comments] | ||

| With all this Miramar posts, what kind of map do you want next? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 05:32 AM PST I love both maps, both have its qualities but personally I would love a smaller map, something similar to some European cities, with older buildings, something more "medieval". [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 25 Jan 2018 07:21 AM PST Feels like I'm getting scammed of so many kills lately. Like I will shoot someone more than 6 times and they just turn around and obliterate me, but when I look at the killcam footage, they are moving differently then what I am seeing on my screen, therefore most of my bullets are not even registering to the target which I clearly can see is bleeding by every shot I take. This is insanely frustrating and is ruining many of my games lately. Anyone else got this problem? [link] [comments] | ||
