So I posted this on r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS but they mostly tried being sarcastic assholes. Lately any vehicle I drive is extremely slow, usually maxing out at 40km/h while boosting. Does anyone else experience this or know why this is happening? (Happens while on flat land btw)

I'm pretty pissed, this wasn't intended as a witch hunt in the first place, nor was it promotion of hacking by any means.

For the past few months I have taken the liberty to record videos and post them to YouTube when peculiar methods of cheats happen in my games. Last month @poopiequeen told me that since November, hacking was down 75%. (Dafuq) I'm sure she's wrong, because since then, battleye announced they banned 800,000 more in December since their last announcement of 700,000 bans in November.

So yesterday, she went and told me she'd "appreciate it" if I'd remove the video. I'm not removing it and I'm still pretty pissed that this issue is still as rampant. I'm not sure if region lock or ping lock is going to settle this issue. This is a programming issue, most of these hacks are performed in memory.

I'm not one to walk into the house just to tell people that I'm leaving but damn, getting to top five just to get sniped with a shotgun from a click away has discouraged me from wanting to play.

I hope everyone else hasn't had the experience I have but I doubt it.

P.S. While some of you recommend FPP to avoid hackers, it's hard for someone in my position who opens the doors to noobs. FPP is a much more competitive scene and I appreciate third person with friends.
