| Any tips for using the sniper rifle? Posted: 12 Jan 2018 12:20 PM PST Hi, I'm the designated sniper of our little survival group and I haven't tried out the sniper rifle yet! I've done perfectly well with the regular ol' rifle but was just wondering if... You have to use zeroing or anything with the sniper? Will the zoom levels affect the trajectory of the bullet? My position is on top of the roof on Horde nights and tonight is night 35. Just found two sniper rifles and replaced my rifle with a sniper so any tips at all would be greatly appreciated! I usually save the good guns until I need them. Haven't ever fired my shot gun on horde nights yet. Mostly my rifle only gets levelled every 7 days. Edit: Also can you hold your breath with the sniper in this game and does bullets hit target instantly or travel to them? | Posted: 12 Jan 2018 12:17 PM PST Anyone played Ravenhurst? I started a game for the first time last night, started on difficulty 4, which was definitely a mistake. Turned it down to 2, which should be laughably easy, but the enemies are still pretty bullet-spongey. Got this nasty spider crawling brain thing that sprinted, used 130 9mm rounds, ran out of ammo, took me and a friend forever to finish it off with bows and clubs. Anyway, I'm not so much concerned with how hard the bad guys hit, but does the health of the enemies seem excessive? Also, bullets seem to do the same damage as clubs? Like, 25 quality clubs. Exp is very slow (150 kills, barely level 7). The skill point system seems a little broken, it takes like 130 points to max a category, and they like doubled or tripled the number of things that take skill points. Although it does seem like quests and stuff give more points than before. My big issue is that I've yet to find an antibiotic despite looting two pop-n-pills and a hospital, and the antibiotics appear to be class gated. Not skill gated, but class-gated. And there's like 15 classes, each gating a critical or semi-critical recipe. Is this mod basically requiring a big group to play it? Any tips on getting antibiotics or growing food? I can't seem to make any new seeds, only plant ones I find. [link] [comments]  | ||

My friends and I have gotten pretty decent at the game and miss the old hordes that overwhelm whatever defenses we have up by sheer numbers and the tension. | Posted: 12 Jan 2018 12:53 PM PST Anybody had the error where it says you are trying to connect to an AC protected server without EAC enabled? It is enabled of course as always. I uninstalled the game, deleted the EAC folder. Reinstalled game. Still won't work. I contacted the EAC people, but hoping somebody has a tip. FYI I play on MAC, so there is no way to run the setup.exe file like on PC. Which...maybe I need to install windows...ugh. [link] [comments]  | ||

Rules are just no exploiting, causing lag (dropping 1000 blocks for example) or griefing like killing traders. [link] [comments]  | ||

| EAC file integrity error / kick issue Posted: 12 Jan 2018 06:18 AM PST Not sure how to go about this but in early December I started getting kicked from our private team server that I run and maintain. I am the only player out of 6 that has this issue. I get a message about file integrity from EAC. I posted this on the official forums but haven't recieved any traction. I have tried the following: Re-installed the game Deleted all traces of the game, registry, appdata, local and re-installed Replaced my router from pfsense to a asus RT3100 2018-01-06T21:50:13 1299388.673 INF [EAC] Log: [QueueClientUpdate] Client: 0xf Session: 15 Status: Client Violation Message: I will be happy to provide any information but I think I have ruled out it being my pc.
